Episode tag to 'Cuisine a la Stalag 13.' LeBeau came back because he had to. He's not happy about that- not happy about a lot of things, really. Including his own behavior. He's got a lot of thinking to do, and a lot of decisions to make. He needs to process, to readjust, and that takes time and privacy. Naturally, he's not going to get either.

She was sure it was a cold. After running around in wet clothes all night it was only to be expected. But, if it was just a cold, why couldn't she breathe?

Magnum insisted he could handle a hike on his own. The ground beneath his feet had other ideas.

Heavy duty drugs and mental trauma were a bad mix for Magnum.

Magnum seemed shattered when Hannah died in his arms, but then he seemed back to his normal self by the time he spoke to Detective Katsumoto at the airport back in Hawaii – how did that happen? This is set in the 2018 reboot, between the last two scenes of episode 20 in season 1.

2018 reboot. When Magnum headed to Kauai as a favor to Robin, he didn't expect to get tangled up in another missing pet case while there. And he definitely didn't expect all the trouble he'd find himself in because of said case. And what kind of weird dog is blue anyway?

Magnum takes a simple, straightforward, corporate espionage case. But is anything ever really simple?

It was his birthday, and all he had wanted was an easy mission, some quiet and maybe a nice diner. So, how did he end up in the cooler? Written for the SSSW 2019 challenge.

It was a phrase any American school child would know by heart. But did it make any sense at all to the British corporal on Hogan's team? A common cold usually lasts about a week, but what about a mass hallucination that only affects Germans? SSSW Challenge 2019.

Failure never had been an option. And yet it happened in one of their most important missions. But did they really fail or were they just a pawn in a bigger game? Higgins was the first to offer to help Magnum in the season 1 finale. How did that happen? This is set in the 2018 reboot, and is a series of missing scenes and a post-episode tag for episode 19, 'Blood in the water'.

... Hogan need never know how. Or so Newkirk tells himself. He needs to keep his sanity until he and Carter can get the coordinates and prevent a sergeant's call, despite everything from tripping hazards to compromising hofbrau employees to criminally poor architects. And really, thought Newkirk, why were there so many coats in the closet they had to handle a jury-rigged bomb in?

When Magnum and Higgins are 'yacht-jacked', Detective Katsumoto admits to Rick and TC that Magnum and Higgins are his friends. But how did that happen, when most of the time, Magnum does nothing but irritate the Detective? Set in the 2018 reboot, this is a post-episode tag for episode 18 of season 1, 'A kiss before dying'.

Music is such a powerful thing. It can take you out of yourself - out of your own world - and into a place you've created. For Kinch, that place is his home in Detroit. Home where Mama and the piano are waiting for him.

2018 Speedwriting Challenge. A kaleidoscope of images from another one of *those* missions. The sort the heroes never, ever want to remember, analyze, or otherwise discuss, and, frankly, they're still not quite sure how any of it happened. You know. One of THOSE missions. It's rather amazing how many of those missions involve a certain Russian agent, isn't it? 2019 PBA medalist.

(sequel to Clogged Drain) After the haunting of their home, the four head out to the farm to rest and recuperate, but there are no city lights here, and the forest is deep and dark. Ghosts are not all that may lurk in the darkness, watching them through the thin glass.

Who wouldn't want to sit out the rest of the war on an island off the coast of Italy? Colonel Robert Hogan, for one.

Hemming trousers is not intrinsically interesting. Watching someone else hem is less so. Chatting to pass the time isn't just pleasant; it's necessary, especially for quiet types like Hogan and Newkirk. Just a rambling conversation, including such topics as privacy, projectile weaponry, carnivals, costumes, military training procedure, and why man's best friend isn't always a dog.

Carter answered Klink's phone, already planning to tell the caller that they had the wrong number. Meanwhile in Hammelburg, an elderly lady tried to call the Frieda Hoffman Friendship Club and instead reached a POW camp. Based on the Season 3 episode "Casanova Klink."

Take three slightly twisted fanfic writers, add one awesome story plot, and blend for about one week. This is what you get. Disclaimer: We know NOTHING!

They told him the French would be rude and the English cold. Now that he knows them, Olsen kind of wishes that was true. It would be better than overdramatic and down-right crazy.

One day an author name Signy1 came up with an awesome bit called "A Funny Thing Happened." Next, MoonyEstelChase took up the mantle with "Well That Escalated Quickly!" Just what exactly happened, anyway? The lunacy rolls on...and on...and...where it stops? Here. Possibly. Probably. R/R Usual disclaimers. Hugs!

The main thing to remember is that, in the end, the mission was a success. There's really no need to go over all the little details of who did what, whether or not the instructions were clear, who said they would handle that one crucial step, or why, precisely, someone ended up half-naked. Is there? No, I didn't think so. Let's hope Hogan doesn't, either. Drabble.

We might have gone a bit crazy with this one. This is Glib (My addition for the ever expanding Funny Thing Happened-verse) posted as its own story. It's still in my Butterfly collection, but I'm gonna post it as its own, also.

A missing scene from 'Hogan, Go Home.' For the men of Barracks 2, the prospect of losing the Colonel is a tragedy; the prospect of getting Crittendon instead is a horror. For Hogan, the prospect of freedom is a dream come true; the prospect of leaving his men behind is a nightmare. The prospects were grim enough for all concerned *before* Crittendon set their clothing aflame...

If a backstory or random trade was needed for a job, something out of the ordinary but just flamboyant enough to be true, LeBeau was the man. Need a character or someone to innocently advance the story? Carter, every time. But when the Colonel needed something sneaky and underhanded, somehow he was always the one to take one for the team.

B'Elanna and Tom discuss their stint on the holodeck, courtesy of the Hirogen, and its repercussions... P/T one-shot. Set immediately post 'The Killing Game'.

Nimrod: the greatest British spy of all time, a master of deceit and sabotage. However... that wasn't exactly right. First of all, there wasn't just one 'Nimrod.' They weren't British. And not a single one of them ever knew what the heck they were doing.

It was just a number. Every soldier had one. A number that every soldier knew by heart. Every soldier except Corporal Louis LeBeau. 191... 8124... The numbers always got jumbled up in his head. He played it off as a joke, but nothing could be further from the truth. Not when this secret could get him killed.

You can choose to be the man your circumstances want to create; you can choose to emulate those around you, and fit yourself seamlessly into the mold. The path of least resistance is often easy. Richard Baker grew up listening to family stories about life on the Underground Railroad. So when he is sent to a POW camp, he becomes determined to follow in his ancestors' footsteps as he leads several prisoners in a daring escape right into the lair of the mysterious Papa Bear.

Newkirk claimed to have nine siblings. Like most aspects of his life, it was half truth, half lie. LeBeau has the span of one mission gone terribly wrong, to pry the whole story from his friend. It just might be the only way they'll survive the night.

One is seeking their help; the other bears shocking information - the A-Team is going to meet a horrible fate, beginning with the death of Hannibal, unless a certain scientist can find a way to change history for the better. Clint Barton and Tony Stark were not exactly blessed in the height department. Bruce Banner was just plain short. What really mattered was that the Hulk was huge, Iron Man was well over six foot, and Hawkeye was... still short. But sometimes that was a good thing.

When an allied aircraft accidentally bombs Stalag Thirteen, Carter and Newkirk are trapped in a tunnel cave-in not knowing if anyone else has survived.

Facing another German defeat in another world war, Sergeant Hans Schultz reflects on his life as well as the prisoners he has guarded and lived with for the last few years. The war has changed them all, most particularly Colonel Hogan, in the Sergeant's eyes.

"We're going to pretend this never 'appened. Nope. Sorry, Guv. I've got no idea where my shirt went. A well? What well? And if you say one word, LeBeau, about 'golden curls, gleaming in the moonlight,' I will punch you in the nose."

After repeated failed Allied attempts to knock out a local ammunition factory, the heroes decide it's time to expand their operations. After all, what's a secret rescue, sabotage and intelligence unit without their very own private airfield? Written for the SSSW challenge.

What's daily life like at Stalag 13? A lot of tedium, some homesickness, memories of the past, plans for the future, and an occasional epiphany.

Bruce is used to waking up alone after a visit from the Other Guy.

Sure, he knew he was a prisoner, but he didn't always feel like one. After all, he and the rest of his pals under Hogan's operation where able to leave practically any time, as long as it had to do with a mission. But Carter couldn't go home, and he only remembered that when he wanted to go home. That was when it truly sunk in just how much a prisoner he truly was.

This is in response to a friend's challenge. Describe the aftermath of a date gone wrong. The date cannot be Face's.

In the mines of Moria, new understanding grows, and the foundations for friendship and change are laid. Legolas, Gimli, Gandalf, Aragorn. Fellowship present. Very slightly altered from the version at Teitho.

Hogan comes up with a typically outrageous lie to get a man out of the cooler, Schultz gets curious and Carter decides he might as well run with it. Cue sweet Sioux storytime in Barracks 2.

They needed a place to lay low. For Face, what was supposed to be a relaxing retreat with a beautiful woman leads to a battle of wills as a prisoner of Colonel Decker.

During a routine recon mission for SHIELD, Clint disappears without a trace. In trying to find him, the team stumbles across an unwelcome and psychotic blast from Clint's past out for revenge. And it seems he's not working alone... In other words, Clint's in danger. Must be Tuesday.

After a mission, Newkirk brings at Stalag 13 an English captain he seems to know very well. As a new mission order is send by London, the history and tension between the two men could lead to dramatic consequences.

Tony wakes up feeling like crap and finds himself longing for the times he lived alone and it was a lot easier to get a simple cup of coffee.

The sense of smell is powerful for the team.

Captain Rogers is used to being in charge. When he's compromised, he has to try to rely on someone less physically capable to get him out of trouble. The bickering, at least, is normal.

The Heroes have had tough assignments before. They've done the impossible time and again. But this unexpected job might be the toughest of all: keeping Sam and Dean Winchester alive.
