Author has written 39 stories for Stargate: SG-1. Update, November 10, 2006: I am unbelievably shocked and awed at the results of the SGFAs. I cannot thank those of you responsible for four of my stories winning enough. It was an absolutely wonderful surprise. A little bit about me: Unfortunately I have very little time for reading and writing fanfic for the time being - I wrote like a crazy person during my pregnancy when I wasn't allowed to do much else, but now I just don't have the time. My boys are keeping me very busy these days - all four of them... the husband, the big boy, and the twin babies. The only other female presence in our house is one of our cats. Additionally, I plan to go back to work after the holidays, so I don't envision having enough time for fanfic in the near future either. Besides, I highly doubt I'd be able to eclipse the last story I posted - which was ironically the first SG-1 story I ever wrote. What else... I have lots of sibs spread around the planet - a sister, two older brothers, a twin brother, a younger brother, plus twelve nieces and nephews... My sister is a fantastic fanfic writer - penname Eve8. Go soak up every word she's written if you haven't already. Past and current TV obsessions include: Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis (obviously), X-Files, Alias, Battlestar Galactica, Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, House M.D. ... I used to watch CSI but I just couldn't stomach it when they put Grissom and Sara together. Clearly I care about television far too much. I am also completely addicted to Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Just a few random tv/movie quotes I'm especially fond of, because this profile seems quite bare: Tracy Lord: Oh, I’m such an unholy mess of a girl! C.K. Dexter Haven: Well, now that isn’t good conversation. Daniel: I think they’re a family. Jack: Of what? Vala: Well as your mother, I'm putting my foot down. You're too young to have an army. Meredith: I am an evil mistress. George: But still… you look nice. Elizabeth: How are you? John: I’m mutating into a bug, how are you? Meredith Grey: I've heard that it's possible to grow up - I've just never met anyone who's actually done it. Without parents to defy, we break the rules we make for ourselves. We throw tantrums when things don't go our way, we whisper secrets with our best friends in the dark, we look for comfort where we can find it, and we hope - against all logic, against all experience. Like children, we never give up hope... Eames: When I was a kid, I used to dream about living on a horse farm. Goren: That’s a nice dream… for a horse. |
