"Pen isn't mightier than sword. Pens don't win battles, and swords don't write poetry.
Mighty is the hand that knows when to pick the pen and when to pick to sword."
Hello, my name is Leah. I read, write, and review Hogan's Heroes FanFiction. One of these days, I may extend into other fandoms, but for now, HH is my focus.
A bit about me: I was home schooled all of my life. I have been writing/publishing since 2016 and have made many friends on the site, whom I cherish deeply. I'm a Christian and I take my faith seriously, so no writing of slash or explicit stories from me. ;)
I've participated in many Reviewathons and PBAs, even being a member of the committee in the 2018-19 session. I'm self-conscious about how I present myself, so I'm slow to send replies to PMs or reviews. (Sorry, about that.)
Movies TV: I prefer a lot of old programs and movies, but do have my modern favorites, too. Examples: Hogan's Heroes(duh!), 12 O'Clock High, Combat!, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Magnum PI, Simon Simon, Murder She Wrote, Early Edition, NCIS(original and LA), Foyle's War, Endeavour, Poldark, Doctor Who, etc. Movie favorites are anything before 1970 and the odd new film such as Dunkirk.
Music: I like a fair mix of music. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como and the like are near and dear to my heart. I also love older country music, George Strait is a particular favorite. '80s Rock rounds out my top three genres; although, I have the odd favorites in Pop/Rap. But on the whole, I don't know much about them.
Sports Hobbies: If it's a sport in Pittsburgh, I'm a fan. Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. City of Champions, baby! My hobbies include writing(duh!), reading, and crafts, such as knitting and crochet. I also know how to embroider and do needle work, but I'm not particularly good at it. Baking and cooking is a passion and so good to eat, though hard on my waistline.
I own no rights to anything except my plots and my OCs. I'm willing to allow use of them, but would like permission to be asked first. To everyone who has read, reviewed, favorited and/or followed my work... Thank you! It means the world to me and I appreciate the encouragement. I'm also very appreciative of the constructive criticism, too, as it enables me to grow.
The Heroes, The Defector, and The Factory and Remember Paris? are within the same story line.
