Author has written 42 stories for Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Detective Conan/Case Closed, Hunger Games, L'Autre, Le Pacte des Marchombres, Inheritance Cycle, Bartimaeus Trilogy, Forever, Sword Art Online/ソードアート・オンライン, Thirteen Reasons Why, and 100.
I am a student who discovered fanfictions by chance and, after reading at least a couple hundred of them, has now decided to write as well.
Though French is my native language, I mostly read in English. Therefore, most of my stories will probably be written in English and then published in both languages. Somehow, words and expressions come more spontaneously in English...
Update 30-01-2015 : I'm still working on Magical Mop (Serpillère Magique).
Also, I'm working on a long fic for Harry Potter and another on Eragon. I will publish once I have at least written 4-5 chapters (hopefully, in a couple of month ?)
Update 22-02-2015 : Sorry for the wait, I got caught up in my two projects ! I now have the detailed storyline of the first 20 or so chapters of my Eragon fanfic (The Essence of a Rider), and the basic storyline of a few following chapters. I also have the basic storyline for the new Harry Potter fanfic (no title yet), up to the 55th chapter !
I have already written the first two chapters of The Essence of a Rider and I hope to start publishing around mid-March.
Update 31-03-2015 : First chapter of The Essence of a Rider was published yesterday. The chapters will be long, so don't expect weekly updates, but I will try not to make you wait too much. For now, I'll try to publish chapter two in a couple of weeks.
Update 31-05-2015 : My exams are coming up, and I will go on training period almost immediately after. I do not know whether I will have time and means to write and publish until mid-August. I will try to publish chapters 6 and 7 of The Essence of a Rider before leaving.
Update 24-07-2015 : Still on training period, and I have little time to write! I have nearly finished the next chapter for both the P&P fic and the Eragon fic, but I still have to type and proofread them... If I manage it, I may publish next week-end. :)
Update 08-11-2015 : This year is an irregularly busy one, and I am slowly starting my thesis. I am not abandoning any of my stories, but I will not be able to update as regularly as before the summer. I am also working on two HP fanfics that I will start publishing once my two main stories are finished (or nearly so).
Something I found recently:
I promise to remember Harry
When someone grows up with no love
I promise to remember Ron
When someone is jealous
I promise to remember Hermione
When I meet someone with wisdom beyond their years
I promise to remember James and Lily
when someone dies before their time
I promise to remember Dumbledore
At the thought of the greater good
I promise to "Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good"
for Gred, Forge, and Padfoot of course
I promise to remember Moony
And fight for human rights
I promise to remember Snape
When My heart fills with remorse
I promise to remember Narcissa
When I'd do anything for family
I promise to remember Dora Tonks
When someone is hyper
I promise to remember Hedwig,
who lived and died soaring
I promise to remember Percy
When ambition gets the best of me
I promise to be careful
For Moody's sake, of course
I promise to remember Hagrid
When one is wrongly blamed
I promise to remember Neville
when I stand up for what is right
I promise to remember the Marauders
When a friend says "Call me and I'll be there."
A few quotes about fanfiction :
''[Fanfiction] is a sign that the characters have life beyond the confines of the page, which is pretty much the holy grail for any author. More power to your pens!" Jonathan Stroud.
“Fanfiction is what literature might look like if it were reinvented from scratch after a nuclear apocalypse by a band of brilliant pop-culture junkies trapped in a sealed bunker. They don't do it for money. That's not what it's about. The writers write it and put it up online just for the satisfaction. They're fans, but they're not silent, couchbound consumers of media. The culture talks to them, and they talk back to the culture in its own language.'' Lev Grossman
“I adore the way fan fiction writers engage with and critique source texts, by manipulating them and breaking their rules. Some of it is straight-up homage, but a lot of [fan fiction] is really aggressive towards the source text. One tends to think of it as written by total fanboys and fangirls as a kind of worshipful act, but a lot of times you’ll read these stories and it’ll be like ‘What if Star Trek had an openly gay character on the bridge?’ And of course the point is that they don’t, and they wouldn’t, because they don’t have the balls, or they are beholden to their advertisers, or whatever. There’s a powerful critique, almost punk-like anger, being expressed there—which I find fascinating and interesting and cool.” Lev Grossman
“There's a time and place for everything, and I believe it’s called 'fan fiction'.” Joss Whedon
