Welcome everyone to The Dmgirl's profile, short for the Dark Magician Girl. All of those who know Yu-Gi-Oh! should recognize the name.
However, contrary to the name, I'm nothing more than an average girl. I go to University and work part time while trying to hold both ends together. Nevertheless, I've managed to make time for my most favorite hobby through a very hectic schedule, along with my forgetfulness and plot bunnies that pop out from nowhere. My best friend keeps telling me that I should stop letting them breed. Unfortunately, I'm powerless to stop them.
My work usually involve a lot of drama and strong psychology, but that's because I always try to work through a character's view. I sometimes even surprise myself at what I write, the story taking a slightly different direction than what was usually intended. But that's primarily due to the fact that I usually left the character's personality speak through my fingers as I try to make things more lifelike, more fleshed out.
I'm one to write what I see, how I life seems to me through the stories depth. That's pretty much why my stories have, most of the time, a neutral ending with a trend on happy or sad, depending on the general mood I'm in. I love "happily ever after endings", but don't judge them appropriate when someone is pretty much fighting for survival everyday, or just barely making it through.
News: Dim Lights is now finished, and I also don't plan on making a sequel. I have no coherent plot after this. BUT, I currently have another story runing under the name of "Criminal" that is available on Inkbunny. Yes, I actually do mature stuff and it is based on the oneshot available here.
Summary: He'd never planned for this happen. He'd never thought how easily he'd find himself dancing in the flames. But all signs point in that direction. And he just can't resist it.
