Wow! It's been forever since I've been active on this site! How about some basic information to get started?

My name's Cary and I won't say my age, just that I am in college. I got my start in reading Fan Fiction with some very interesting "DragonBall GT" fics and since then have broadened my horizons. Some of my past obsessions have included "Rurouni Kenshin," "Inu-Yasha," "Weiss Kreuz"... you know, typical anime nerd stuff :)

At the moment, I'm not so much into anime as much as books. Most of the things I write are actually original fiction. I'm currently in the process of trying to get a YA fantasy novel published. Here's hoping! Anyway, because I'm trying to focus on the world of YA, I've been spending most of my time reading published novels and even less time writing fanfiction. I did have more stories up but I took one look at the things I had written four years ago and physically cringed. So into the trash they went!

I don't write long fanfiction period, unless there is some element of original fiction incorporated in the form of Original Characters. Personally, I'm not a fan of fanfiction involving OCs although there are some exceptions), so I'm trying to stay away from writing any. The fanfiction I prefer to write is short and sweet (like me!).
