If Beth had NOT been kidnapped and Daryl and she had stayed on the road together: On the road, searching for safety, searching for community, keeping an eye out for their dispersed group, Daryl and Beth make a go of it as best they can, becoming a solid unit of two. Encountering both the living and the dead, they must fight not only for survival but for faith the fight is worth it.

This story will follow the exploits of Daryl Dixon and Beth Greene after the fall of the prison in the Season 4 Midseason Finale. Having lost their home, their family, and friends, Daryl and Beth are forced to set out on their own. The brutality of their world and their survival instincts will set them on a course to form a bond they never expected.

When Daryl signed on to be up and coming country singer Beth Greene's bodyguard, he had figured it'd be a pretty easy gig, just watch out for overzealous fans and not let the girl get into any trouble. He hadn't counted on the insane hours, her obsessed stalker, or Beth herself. He sure hadn't counted on four months later the whole world going to hell.

The third story in the series, following HOME and OFFICIAL. Beth and Daryl have settled into life on the farm with the new group. Life in the new dangerous world is never dull and keeps both of them on their toes. Together Beth and Daryl struggle against walkers, foes and sometimes even family.

Alexandria's time is dwindling. Running low on food and ammo, they face destruction at the hands of the Wolves. It seems their only option is to send scouts out for medical supplies and a place to manufacture bullets, to fight until their last breath. Unable to find any other survivors Beth and Daryl head out alone and begin to learn how one can bear to live in this new world. Canon divergence after 'Still'.

The dead started walking in Beth's 3rd year of college. Alone in a different city babysitting, she needs a good plan to save them both. Merle is out of prison and clean & sober and doing his best to stay that way. With the dead walking his only thought is to get to Daryl, running into Beth is only going to delay him a few days. At least that's what he keeps telling himself.

"I bet you thought that was real heroic. Hell, every villain thinks he's the hero of his own story." Negan dropped down to lean in close to Daryl's face - the next words were for him alone. "But if you pull anything like that again, I will bring Beth out here just to watch you die." Full ensemble with a Bethyl twist, M for everything.

A slow burn love/romance story between Daryl and Beth, set in the prison. This pairing had a lot to offer, Beth bringing light to Daryl's dark world whilst he draws out her inner strength. Exploring the dynamics between these characters as well as other characters, especially Beth's family and potential reactions to a Bethyl relationship. Rated M for lang. and later scenes.

When you are so in love with someone it doesn't matter where you are or what you have, as long as you have one another. Home is where you want it to be and Beth's home is with Daryl.

My submission for Bethyl Holidays Fest 2019 - Thanksgiving prompts Family and Dinner (is that cheating? Too bad.) Beth has Thanksgiving dinner all planned out (well, as planned out as she can make it), but when an unfortunate accident keeps her from achieving her goals, Daryl steps up and surprises her in more ways than one.

My (late) contribution to Bethyl Holidays Fest 2019 - Halloween prompt: Trick or Treat. Of all the gin joints in all the world, Beth had to walk into Daryl's. Well...his seat, that is.

A S8 GoT one shot. Amidst the many reunions the coming of the Targaryen Queen to Winterfell brought, Sansa Stark encounters again Sandor Clegane.

Beth is sick, a new world with an old illness. She tries to remind herself that all the pain is temporary. She walks and whispers for days at a time, dragging behind Alpha and Beta just waiting for it all to stop. Tortured memories and new experiences haunt her, as her body starts to shut down. Until Daryl finds her and everything changes except her expiration date.

After the tragedy of the fair, Judith visits Negan. Right away he can tell that something terrible went down considering her depressive behavior, and he wants nothing more than to make sure she's okay and protected.

..Daryl/Beth.. AU to episode 3x04 "Killer Within". "Have you done this before?" She then questions Beth and Beth remembers the way the woman had questioned her daddy back at the farm, when Carl needed that surgery. "Helped deliver a baby in a prison boiler room? First time. You?" Beth does her best to make a joke.

The tables are turned and once again fate, with a little help from their friends brings Beth and Daryl together. A follow up to " A Perfect Mess".

He thought back to the last time he saw her. The golden tresses of blonde hair tumbling down her back as it rested in a messy ponytail stained with crimson. The same blue eyes that he would stare into for hours upon end as they spoke in the stillness of the days that surrounded them, the true epitome of a window to her soul – which now, as she stood before him, were betraying her.

Beth was gone; Daryl knew that although he hated it. He had to get up today and tomorrow, but today there was a bigger mission; get Eugene from Negan's compound and get back to Hilltop. He expected something to go wrong, but didn't expect to see the girl he spent two years trying to forget; golden curls shining, heavily pregnant, covered in scars and nonetheless with the Saviors.

"It's been two years. They can be long gone by now, or worse.." She didn't want to think about that. Not now. Especially not now that she ran from the walkers. After all the girl with little memory still had hope. The bullet didn't take her life, why should she let this walker? This is my take on what would have happened if Beth had survived.

Beth is dead… or is she? Image if the universe gave our little heroine another chance to change some of the choices she made in life. Would Beth be able to change her fate? Or are we all doomed no matter the changes we might make?

Daryl had messed up, that was a huge understatement, but the idea still held. Now he was sitting in the local hospital in a long room with machines lining the walls and little chambers that housed, in a few of them, tiny bodies like the one he was staring at. According to Sheriff Grimes this little tissue thin body was his – the premature baby girl in there was Daryl's daughter.

Having lost the will to go on Daryl breaks from the group with plans of going off on his own once again. The only person who could have stopped him died far too long ago. He'd give anything to get her back, to tell her everything he was once too afraid to fe isn't always fair but sometimes life gives us a second chance to see the people we love one more time. ..Daryl/Beth.. AU S4 prison. Beth looked back to him and she was smiling again and he didn't know her well enough to know if it was an actual smile or a fake one. And for some reason, not knowing that bothered him even though he had no idea why it would. He had other things – bigger things – to worry about than whether or not Beth Greene's smile was genuine.

Daryl has always followed the road set out in front of him. But when Merle gets put in jail and there's no one to lead the way anymore, he finds himself adrift. He's got a job, and a place to live, but it's in a grocery store of all places, as he stands baffled by row after row of endless choices, that he meets someone who might just help him truly find his way.

...and the one time they still weren't. A series of interactions between Beth and Daryl at the prison. I don't buy into the theory that they never interacted, despite how little of it we saw on television. They spent the winter as part of the same small group, and were both part of the core group setting up the prison.

Meeting on the Greene family farm at the start of the outbreak, follow Beth, Daryl and their group as they get to know each other. Their adventure unfolds for us as well as for them, as this story has no defined story arc and each chapter is written by a different author.

In the midst of the outbreak, some sparsely governed towns have taken matters into their own hands. Laws are set in. Women forced into marriages with men and used as breeding stock in order to repopulate the world. Daryl Dixon, a survivor, soon finds himself bonded to a young, former farm hand named Beth Greene against their wills. Entering a future that neither had ever expected.

Maggie Greene doesn't always notice things, but she notices this. When Beth and Daryl are reunited with Team Family, five months after the prison fell, they've changed. And Maggie wants to know why. (Told from Maggie's point of view as she watches Beth and Daryl upon their return - some sort of alternate timeline where Beth never got kidnapped and canon is not necessarily followed)

Sequel to The Past Comes Home! Beth is once again back home in Georgia (for good) and is trying to win Daryl's forgiveness for everything that she has done. As they walk along, their broken family, he looks around and tries to imagine it bigger, the fallen still within their ranks. A flash of blonde catches his eye, just on the other side of her sister, and he has to blink hard to come back to reality, the feeling of her name on his tongue.

Beth gets shot by Dawn at Grady Memorial but doesn't die, and she and Daryl get to have the story they deserved. (Fix-it fic for Coda, canon up until the ending.)

Daryl had done a lot of crazy shit before but letting her into his cell had been the craziest. Everything was just so dark, and he couldn't bring himself to say no to the warm light she brought into his life. Nothing was ever simple, though, especially in the apocalypse.

Daryl and Beth had to flee the prison in a hurry. Beth wants to find Maggie and Judith. Daryl tries to protect Beth by shielding her from walkers and keeping her at arm's length. Beth just wants Daryl to see her as the woman she has become. Daryl soon realizes that keeping Beth alive is easy. Keeping her out of his arms is a different story.
