Left off at the Season 2 finale, "A Deadly Game" with Beckett getting to tell Castle what she wants and them heading to the Hamptons together. HAHA Gina! I always wanted it to end differently but kind of glad it didn't. But if it did, here's how I imagined things.

Beckett and Castle lay in the freezer they had backed themselves into, both knowing that they are most likely going to die there. Kate begins to realize her feelings for Rick and admits them to him. Where will this take them?

AU. "Apparently I don't look like a Kate but do I really look like an idiot?" It's Kate Beckett's first year at Stanford and it's not long before she meets Rick 'different girl every week' Rodgers. Sparks fly and Kate tries her hardest to ignore them - but how long will that last, especially when Rick is determined to make her his? Rating may change.

He's put on psychiatric leave. She's in hiding with her family trying to finish her book. The conspiracy thickens and the gates of Hell are about to open. Violence and darkness ahead. Yes Caskett moments in between and some sex eventually but before the light there's always the gaping maw of darkness trying to consume you... Season 1 has smutty fun. Season 2 is drama.

CASKETT: What should have happened during and after the couch scene in "To Love and Die in LA"... In my opinion anyway. Rated M for a very good reason. For those that know me this is really, REALLY NOT FEMSLASH! (But there will be more of that soon!)

This is my entry for the 2013/2014 Winter Ficathon. She awoke with a start. The bed beside her was cold, the room still dark save for the soft glow of the streetlight filtering in through the window as it reflected off of the steadily falling snow. I will be using prompts #1 & #3. A carefully planned pregnancy brings hope and joy into the Castle's lives. Rated M for Caskett fluff.

Seriously, this just isn't fair. She so rarely has a day off in the middle of the week, and instead of spending it lounging in bed with her, all her delicious nakedness aligned with his, he has to sit through Black Pawn meetings. Happy Birthday, AC!
