Author has written 9 stories for Lord of the Rings, Stargate: Atlantis, King Arthur, Justice League, Ironman, Sherlock, and Star Wars.
I am a prolific reader, and read far more than I write. Please check out my favourites list for a selection of great stories by some amazingly talented authors from a variety of fandoms.
Although I've been trying for years, I'm essentially too lazy to do much writing, I have a hard drive full of abandoned attempts at various projects that never got beyond a late night idea. I'm making an effort to change that though and get something down here for you to read.
Apologies to anyone following the long suffering Green-Leafed Hope, and a huge THANK YOU for all the encouraging reviewers I've had for it over the years. I've definitely learned my lesson about posting a story before it's complete.
2009-10 update: The project has been discovered in its dusty crypt and after some extreme experiments during a thunderstorm is about to emerge lurching into the light. I've enlisted the help of my very keen and encouraging father who has not only revived my love for Tolkien, but is giving me a hand overhauling the whole story. The rewrite so far has covered about half the intended plot and is already fast approaching 80,000 words (instead of 20,000), and as the song goes, we've only just begun...The story will most likely be taken down, updated and republished as a co-authored project sometime this or next year. If all goes well, there may even be a sequel (hopeful one which takes slightly less than 5 years to revive)... Hopefully it will be worth the wait.
2011 update: In the last few month's we've hit both the 27th chapter, and the 156,000 word mark. Bearing in mind, FOTR is only 177,000, this seems to have got away from us slightly...I was all for calling it "The Fic That Wont Die" but my fabulous co-author thought something a little more catchy might be in order. Therefore, we proudly present, as a sneak preview, the brand spiffy new title:
"The Legacy of Fornost"
...and that should give you all sorts of ideas about where we're going with it. First chapter should be up by Christmas.
Thank you again to everybody who takes the time to leave a review or a comment. It means a lot!
