Author has written 9 stories for Dungeons and Dragons, and Mechwarrior/Battletech.

I primarily write stories set in the Battletech Universe following the adventures of the soldiers, mercenaries and adventurers from the Planet Logandale in the Federated Suns.

One of the things that draws me to the Battletech Universe is its scale and while the 'big' events are well mapped out, there is plenty of scope to tell stories around the canon. The following is my attempt to fill in the blanks, looking beyond the big hitters of the setting and focusing on the 'little' guys whose stories are so often missing from 'official history'. Its not a alternative universe, everything that happened in the canon happened here exactly as presented in the fluff, even the ridiculous stuff. The Logandalers simply have a habit of avoiding the limelight, though occasionally they conspire to be just out of shot as momentous events are occurring.

Trooper David Wessex joined a mercenary outfit to make his fortune and see the universe. Hunting pirates on a backwater world had not been part of the original plan, but then a mercenary cannot be too choosy about the work they do. However, all is not quite as it seems as it turns out that not all pirates are made equally and as it happens neither are mercenaries.

Battle of Traftin Valley reviews
The Battle of Traftin Valley was a historical event from my D&D campaign world, taking place roughly 500 years ago, marking the final battle of the Lebane Commonwealth and the establishment of the 'modern' world. By this point it has become more legend than fact and this story is an attempt at writing in the style of a bard retelling the legend at a tavern.
