What it is to be a Hero; X-Men: First Class; M for mature; English; Pairings: Charles/OC with Logan/OC friendship in the future; Summary: Mutation doesn't equate to heroism, so what makes a hero? For the hope of the betterment of mutants, but the fear of the unknown terrifies her; he calms her tossing mind with only words. Slight AU. ON HIATUS
Worth Fighting For; Aliens; M for mature; English; Pairings: Hicks/OC with sprinklings of brief, past Gorman/OC; Summary: Normal people don't exactly sign up to kill aliens that seemingly decimated an entire ship, but Nina wasn't normal. She punched and asked questions later; shot her rifle into the crowd instead of running away, and she always needed to fight; it was in her blood after all. She was sardonically charismatic and had an odd charm to her that Corporal Hicks just can't seem to ignore.
Why your favorite story is on hiatus:
Copper Luck: Copper Luck was a story that I created on a whim and something that I considered a special project. I've lost the imagery to create more chapters and the writing has been stalled. I still love Aliens, it's one of my favorite movies to watch, but as far as Copper Luck goes I have writer's block.
The Crow & The Little Bird: This was my first GoT story and my first time writing the characters out on paper (or on the computer); I feel like I've done them a dishonesty by writing some of the characters, out of character. I'm editing it and going back through it to fit how I feel like they should be. The characters and the plot will remain, but some of the interactions will be written differently. Besides that, I've grown to dislike Avery and almost consider her a "perfect" character, which I hate writing. Avery does cry a lot, but she has no real weakness other than self-interest and I want her to be more.
Thunderous Silence: I'm currently trying to focus solely on two stories at a time, it gives me more of a chance to get the plot line right and focus more on character development. Right now there isn't anything that I feel like that needs to be changed in the story, but I'm going according to popularity or if it was a request.
Shaped and Drawn: I'm actually rewriting my character. When I created Belle with a certain actress in mind (Emily Browning) and created her personality with the physical aspect in mind. I want to go back and change not only her physical appearance but her personality as well. Her name will remain, Belle, simply because I think the name fits with the new imagery I have in mind. Nothing about the plot is changing, just the character and it's easier to do when the story is still on Chapter ONE.
What it is to be a Hero: This story was a test, I wanted to see how I could do writing this certain character and I do have a large plot in mind for her, but I don't know where to go off from here. I made a background story that I don't particularly like, looking back on it, so I will also be changing that. Again, it's easier to do that change when the story is still on Chapter ONE.
Besides these reasons, I find it a lot easier to write stories when concentrating on a few at a time. I chose the ones that I don't have writer's block on or that I plan on editing. I hope you can understand! These stories are not being forgotten, just put on the back burner until I'm ready to move on. Thanks x

And lastly, how to fool her overprotective brother into thinking she wasn't falling in love.
Placebo; The Vampire Dairies; M for mature; English; Pairings: Klaus/OC/Elijah, slight Damon/OC, Elena/Stefan, Caroline/Tyler; Summary: Nina Gilbert was always 'Elena's kid sister' she doubted if anyone actually knew her name in Mystic Falls, but she couldn't blame everyone; she mainly kept to herself.
