 Author has written 4 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Silmarillion. Discovered fan fiction at Christmas 2014 and haven't looked back. I write in the LOTR & Silmarillion fandoms. My first story Thranduil & The Dark Elf of Fangorn, gets most of the attention, but my second story, Eol & Aredhel: The Real Story, is far better (in my opinion) and brings in lots of Silmarillion elements. My third story, (in progress), Haldir & The Easterling, is the sequel to Thranduil & The Dark Elf of Fangorn. I like fanfiction writing because it's low-pressure, anonymous and anything goes. Look for my sexier stories on AOOO under the same name, quietbeansidhe. Also, if you're a stickler for typos, read the AOOO versions of my stories as they're better edited (I love but they make it hard to edit older stories.) I love both reading and writing romance, and I have read authors here that are very talented. They inspire me. As for canon, while it is important, I think the whole point of fanfic is to go beyond canon and let our imaginations pick up where canon leaves off.
