julamei (jool-ah-may) noun: just another dork on the internet writing about fictional dorks that i'm entirely too invested in. love me my nerds, my oblivious cinnamon rolls, my tsundere, readers, reviewers, other fandom creators who sustain me with their fics and art, and, above all, the authors of these unbelievable stories. Oda, who has spent more than half of his life giving us Luffy and his journey; to Hiromu Arakawa for the Elric brothers, Mustang, Riza, Olivier Armstrong, Greed; Takahashi for dog-demons and reincarnated priestesses; Furudate for our volleyball dorks; and Takeuchi for a found family of badass girls and for first mesmerizing and inspiring this little introvert outcast back in the 90s. More and more I am so grateful that these people share their creativity with the world.

If you have stories or art or music or anything inside you, give yourself a chance to develop those talents. You are worth it, you deserve to explore and express yourself, and you never know what will resonate with others. I owe so much of my happiness and who I am to the brave people who create and share these characters and stories.
