Aside from a brief foray into Mulder/Scully shipping during the main years of that show, the only ship I've ever followed is Picard/Crusher. The depth and maturity of their relationship was always impressive to me, and holds up so well over time and repeated viewings of the show...so that's what I write. (Other fandoms I follow are Star Wars, Person of Interest, and Voyager.)

I've been writing fanfic off and on for much longer than I'd sometimes like to admit, but let's just say it goes back to Usenet days -- only now, instead of camping out in the proverbial parents' basement to write, I try to squeeze it in around work and kids.

My tea of choice is, of course, Earl Grey.
