Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Just checked this account after literal DECADES. (It's 2023). I apparently missed tons of PMs. I GIVE BROAD, BLANKET PERMISSION TO ANYONE TO TRANSLATE, UPLOAD, SHARE OR DO ANYTHING THEY WISH TO IN BLOOD ONLY OR TO CONTINUE, TRANSLATE, WHATEVER TO THE OTHER STORY I ABANDONED. I don't own the stories posted here. They're my beautiful, wonderful experience that gave me the confidence to actually become a professional published writer, and I owe that to all of you. Won't say what the penname is here. I had no desire to sponge off another author's work and reputation in order to enhance my own writing career... Even if the prospect of a sudden sharp spike in sales is mighty tempting. That said, my first pubbed book did get the inevitable Snape/Harry comparison here and there. (There are aspects of that relationship so delicious, I had to keep exploring them, sorry. Father/son, mentor/mentee, older male rival/younger male rival just captivate me. I want to write another. See also: JD/Doctor Cox, Chrichton/Scorpius, too...) That said, all my love to you people who gave me the confidence to keep writing until I sold something IRL. And then keep writing until I became a NYT bestseller. Because I did that eventually, too. Nice to look back here and the good old days and refresh my memories of how I got started-- and how you all gave me so much wonderful feedback, that I believed in myself enough to try and try and try again. Love you all. Immensely. I hope you've had beautiful lives. Know something: All that feedback you graciously took the time to leave me? It literally changed my life for the better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. "I am going to finish every story I have begun. I promise you." I'm a despicable liar. To be fair, I meant it at the time. |
