May 18, 2014 - I wrote a new fic back in April and put it up on AO3, as a birthday gift for my wonderful friend Stars. I had it all ready to post on FF, but then I was traveling and kind of forgot about it... posting it now! Better late than never, right? It's a Winter Soldier AU, called Hello Night.
Mar 28: New fic! I write it for the Never Have I Ever challenge at The Beta Branch, and it's called To Start To Live Again, for Downton Abbey. Let's just say that sometime between series 3 and 4 when I was still devastated over a certain character death, I decided there was only one way two characters could go from here. I have been dying for the writers to go there, and in season 5, it looked like they almost were... Basically this fic is something that has been burning in my heart for a couple years and I'm terrified it's not as good as I need it to be, but here it is anyways. /ramble. ;D
Feb 9: Finally the login is back up (wasn't working for two days, there!) and I could post. Got a new story up, for Supernatural, called this is it (the apocalypse).
Jan 23: The Walking Ted is complete!! YAY! Stayed tuned for my next big fic, which is epically huge and I'm not even done writing it yet...
Dec 27: Merry Christmas!! New The Walking Ted chapters are up - almost done posting that one! - and hopefully will have some new goodies to share in the new year...
I am a female between the age of 20 and 29.
I ramble in messages, I love messaging fellow readers/writers/fans. Feel free to drop me a line with comments, questions, hey's and hi's, whatever you fancy. :D I wax and wane between being madly obsessed and cooly enjoying fandoms. I keep scads of notebooks with half-finished things and ideas and notes in them. I can't even begin to explain to you the depth of my love for Lost.
If I read it, I WILL review it, regardless of how much I liked it or didn't like it. I don't necessarily expect the same from every single person, but I definitely would hope for it! I think it's a simple courtesy. The author took the time to write it and share it, I took the time to read it, so it's only fair I give them my thoughts on it, even if it's just one word. I try to leave helpful and specific reviews, but sometimes I just don't have much to say. Lastly, I desperately appreciate concrit. If I have errors, typos, inconsistencies, grammar problems, characterization or logic problems - please point them out. I appreciate it immensely. :)
Also, I read a pretty randomly wide range of fics. Lately I seem to have a fascination with both reading and writing whump and angst. I have no idea why. And I LOVE a good crossover. The more clever and conceivably canon, the better.
My early fics are embarrassingly bad. Eventually I'll go back and edit them, mostly just spelling, grammar and my tendency to grossly overuse dot-dot-dots, so the main "plot" will remain. They're still pretty embarrassingly bad, though. Seriously tho, you've been warned.

"Please, understand, sometimes I can't choose what I work on. I can't follow through on a line of thinking just because I want to, or, or because it's needed. I have to work on what's in my head. And right now, this is what's in my head." -Charlie Eppes, Numb3rs
"I love writing but I hate starting. The page is awfully white and it says: 'You may have fooled some of the people some of the time but those days are over, giftless. I'm not your agent and I'm not your mommy, I'm a white piece of paper, you wanna dance with me?' And I really, really don't. I don't want any trouble. I'll go peaceable-like." -Aaron Sorkin
"I have tried simply to write the best I can. Sometimes I have good luck and write better than I can." -Ernest Hemingway
"Writing isn't everything, but it's right up there with oxygen." -Unknown
"Many suffer from the incurable disease of writing, and it becomes chronic in their sick minds." - Juvenal
"If you did not write every day, the poisons would accumulate and you would begin to die, or act crazy, or both - you must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." -Ray Bradbury
"Don't get it right, get it written." -James Thurber
"What no [partner] of a writer can ever understand is that a writer is working when he's staring out of the window." -Robert Andrews
"Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader. Not the fact that it is raining, but the feeling of being rained upon." -E.L. Doctorow
"The writer is both a sadist and a masochist. We create people we love and then we torture them. The more we love them, and the more we torture them along the lines of their greatest vulnerability and fear, the better the story." -Janet Fitch
"The thing that non-writers do not understand is that even if the idea hurts us, we have to get it out, we must write it. The voices in our head will not shut up until we do." -Unknown
