This is a posting of ramblings, dribbles, one-shots, unfinished ideas or other stuff I just don't think deserves it's own storyline. Some I plan to finish someday, others are what they are. This is mature reading for some posts. Some items may be well developed, others are not yet, and may never be. There will many different pairings, and sometimes none.

Pleading with his magic to get him away, he soon discovers he has a great destiny and the family he always wanted.

What if Dudley wasn't an only child. What if a gift of Lily to her sister, along with the wards protecting Harry resulted lots of children in a household full of love instead of resentment. What if the wards were more powerful the more family that lived under them, What if the protection imparted by Lily to her son, also was imparted to those new magical children

A far more bitter Harry Potter sees the dementor attack as the wakeup call it is and enacts a Black Family ritual to give him the life he's always secretly desired for himself. High seas piracy! During the Tri-Wizard Tournament, Harry entered the third task and never came out. This is the story of Hermione and all those left behind. Four months later Hermione finds evidence of Harry and everything starts falling apart even faster. Then she finds him barely alive and their world explodes. AU. H/Hr.

Thrown back in time from 2019 to 1991, a grown and disgruntled Harry Potter finally has the chance to change his life for the better, fixing things before everything went wrong and becoming the father figure for his younger self that he never had. Maybe he now actually has a chance at happiness, both for him and his younger self, and just maybe a chance at romance as well...

A chance encounter changes some things in the life of our young hero. A small initial push brings massive end changes. T for some adult themes.

29th October 1990: Whilst hiding from Dudley, Harry reads a book in the school library, CAMPFIRE TALES FOR BOYS. Four years and two days later, when the Goblet of Fire spits out Harry's name, Harry tries something that he had read about in that children's book.

A finished story of Luke Skywalker actually being Luke Lars and time turn foolery. Anakin needed a father and Mark Hamil now and forever will need more screen time. Also short stories and unfinished story idea collection here that may have a few updates every now and then. But the main story about Luke time travelling paradox is complete :D

Looks at the beginning of the story from a more adult view rather than as a children's story, plus a small change. The outcome changes significantly.

Harry Potter goes into the Forbidden Forest to meet Lord Voldemort, only to learn 'the power he knows not' is not love. Canon until start of story. Says complete but who knows.

Loneliness was something that Harry Potter was accustomed to. He had learnt that there was none that cared for him, none that would rescue him from his misery and none that heard his pleas for help. Much to his surprise, however, Harry Potter had been wrong. Someone had been listening, had been there with him through it all. But, just who was 'Tom?

After Sirius is killed, Harry doesn't want to go to the Dursleys again. The Grangers notice something is off with him so they offer Harry the chance to go home with them and then on holiday where something unexpected happens.

AU -In the aftermath of the Chitauri invasion, Tony Stark sorts out his priorities - including one he didn't think he had.

Harry is surprised by the side effects of having saved Ginny in the chamber. Turns out people he trusted were lying to him. There were many people who wouldn't have done what they did if they could forsee the consequences of their actions and Harry's reactions.

"Harry and Sirius end up drunk one night Christmas of fifth year. Harry ends up telling Sirius about the mortifying poem in his second year. When Harry Potter dies unexpectedly at the age of 68, it is up to Hermione Granger to investigate the claims he has left behind about his life.

Harry's botched spell during the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament transforms the fierce Hungarian Horntail into an only slightly less fierce woman. When Professor McGonagall insists he attend the Yule Ball and represent Hogwarts with dignity, he suddenly knows exactly who to invite as his date. Harry/Hungarian Horntail.

Harry accidentally missed his wedding and his fiancee came looking for him. Turns out he was in the nineteen-eighties. Big shout out to ClareR89 for being my sounding board

AU starting end of Fifth year. Hermione was hurt a bit more by Dolohov's curse, and Harry needs to do something to fix it. It all goes off the rails from there. Tropes galore, I'm terribly mean to several characters I don't like (i.e. most adults and the youngest Weasleys)

When the portkey attached to the Goblet of Fire deposits Harry and Cedric in the graveyard in Little Hangleton, Harry is in no mood to accommodate Voldemort's sinister plans. He decides to fight back and that changes everything. [H/Hr]

Harry Potter lived in the Twelve Colonies having ended the long bloody war with Voldemort, now escaped and survived the exodus and New Caprica. New friends have been made, old ones remembered, the past is the future and this has all happened before…prophecy, legend, and someone who has lived and seen a lot more than most.

Hermione's destiny is altered by the Powers that Be. She is cast back to the Marauder's Era where she is Hermione Potter, the pureblood fraternal twin sister of James Potter. She retains Hermione Granger's memories, and is determined to change her brother's fate for the better. Obviously AU. Starts in their 1st year. M for language, minor violence, etc.

The summer after Harry's fourth year would have been much better if just one person in his life had disregarded Professor Dumbledore's instructions to ignore him. And if that person was Hermione Granger? It would have been much, much better.

Beginning in the graveyard, Harry fails to reach the cup to escape but is saved by an unexpected person thought long dead. Harry learns what it is to be a Potter and starts his journey to finish Voldemort once and for all. NO SLASH. Rated M for language, gore etch. A story of realism and Harry coming into his own.

My answer to Reptilia28's challenge. Six times has Harry Potter died young instead of killing Tom Riddle and marrying his soulmate Hermione. The seventh time that Harry's soul is sent into his younger body, Harry keeps his older memories and he has a plan. But if he fails, both his body and soul shall die. An H/Hr story that bashes Dumbledore and our most unfavourite Weasleys.

There was no troll in the girls bathroom in 1991. Hermione found no friends that night. Therefore the brightest witch of her age is on a perilous path. Because with magic it is so very true that knowledge is power. But is it also true that power corrupts? Will the only daughter of two dentists become the third Dark Lord that rises in Dumbledore's lifetime?

It has been eight hours since Harry was dragged out of Potions for the Wand Weighing Ceremony and he hasn't been heard from since. What is the reason for Harry's mysterious vanishing act? Will Hermione survive the wait?

Years after he left Britain for the United States, Harry Potter is forced to return when his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire. Sequel to "The Godmother."

On a trip to St. Mungo's to check on Moody after the Tournament, Amelia Bones sees a badly injured child in one of the beds. From that random encounter, everything changes.
