During dinner conversation, it turns out that Shinji met someone when he ran away.

Thanks to people they thought they had lost, Shinji and Asuka were able to stop Gendo and SEELE's plans by successfully preventing Third Impact from coming to fruition on that fateful day. Now, both must rely on each other and prepare to fight once again after all these years. Only this time, they've finally bridged all gaps between the two of them...right?

Shinji and Asuka remain, in a derelict world with nothing but the promise of return for mankind. with just the two of them left how will they cope and survive not just world but...each other.

Shinji Ikari is dead. He failed and he drifts aimlessly between this world and the next. He is given another chance at life, but not in the way one might expect.

Little pieces that were left on the cutting room floor, or thought about at a later point, when writing A Strange Duet. Most of the content will focus on fleshing out the characters with perhaps an occasional humorous piece written specifically for this compendium if time and muse allow.

Shinji unexpectedly runs into Asuka at a comic-con, who 'fails' to recognize him cause of his costume.

One mid-October evening, Asuka, tired of her conflicted emotions towards the Third Child, convinces a reluctant Shinji to kiss her. He in turn, deciding to take a chance for once, reciprocates. But even the joy of the happiest moment in her life cannot overcome her fears. Her cruel words leave not one, but two hearts broken. Can she be forgiven? And how will everything else change?

Takes place during ep15. Hikari asks Shinji, not Asuka, on a blind date with her sister's friend. Asuka is left alone in the apartment. Out of boredom, she starts talking to PenPen.

Being a pilot certainly sounds cool, especially for commercial airliners. However, what really mattered was the journey and what you could gain along the road. AXS. (contains some lemon)

"How come you never go into the village?" It was a simple question, but it made Asuka remember why she stayed away from Village-3.

Shinji and Asuka reconnect in the aftermath of Third Impact

Re-take on the events of Evangelion, and a rebuild of an earlier work. Shinji arrives after the first two angel attacks, responding to summons from his parents to pilot Eva. Yui and Kyoko live in this re-telling of events, but be careful what you wish for.

It's yet another case for Shinji, a young defense attorney in the city. No one else knew that he had a person helping him throughout the entire trial.

December 4th, 2015. Everyone is at NERV HQ trying to get the Third Child out of Unit-01. No one cares Asuka is alone and feeling miserable on her birthday. So she decides it's time Misato's forest of bottles does her a favor. After all, Misato thinks liquor is the solution to everything, right? Asuka's turn. And of course, this leads to Good Ideas...

It's December 8th, 2015. Misato Katsuragi is turning 29. She hates that. So what is she doing? Getting drunk, obviously. But this year, she's not doing it alone. This year, she's making her Ex pay for drinks, and telling him a secret.

Short story for Christmas. As a gift for the Christmas season, Misato hands the kids money to go shopping. Set around episode 23 of NGE.

What would you do if this Christmas didn't turn out the way you expected? At least for Shinji, this Christmas would be completely different.

A small story in celebration of her birthday. Shinji has the chance to do something nice for Asuka.

Shinji and Asuka's story is over. The world will soon forget about them. They must also forget everything about each other to be able to move on. But as the old saying goes: "You can erase someone from your mind. Getting them out of your heart is another story". An homage to the extensive LAS/Asushin lore and romance in canon and in fan works - from past, present and the future.

On trying Shinji's cooking for the first time, Rei's reaction was...not what anyone quite expected.

The League of Villains is auditioning a new recruit.

Asuka doesn't want to go on her dumb arranged date and stays home, only to find that Shinji has been keeping a diary with his most secret and perverted thoughts. Things snowball from there. An homage/parody to the famous lemon series "Asuka's Diary of Perversion" written by the great Rommel (available on Archive of Our Own website).

Asuka has to study abroad and spend time away from Shinji, but he has plans to surprise her for Christmas.

In order to clear her thoughts and give her a new change of scenery, Kensuke starts them on a journey to help those in the wasteland recover while Asuka struggles with her individuality.

The new millennium dawns and with it the battle for the survival of all humans will now begin. Shinji Ikari, the first child to pilot an Evangelion, must take to battle in countless battlefields against both humans angels, and things entirely different. When confronting his father in the negative universe, Shinji made a deep realization about himself and reality itself. Twelve years have passed since SEELE was defeated and the Third Impact thwarted. It's Shinji and Asuka's wedding, but it seems that the bride has had one too many drinks. (Oneshot. Asushin. Rated T for safety, although I think it's relatively harmless.)

Shinji can't forget the events of the night before he and Asuka fought Israfel. He didn't realize it at first, but these events had more implications than he originally thought. And more importantly, they will have consequences.

3 Years have passed, new powers have risen in place of the old and though no more angels threaten mankind the scourge of total war is on the horizon. While mankind occupies itself with it's own petty rivalries, the greatest threats to their existence approaches slowly yet equally as surely. (Sequel to less of a bastard Redux)

A few changes are enough to change the world. Shinji Ikari is trained as a pilot, Seele is not as infallible as they might seem and the angels may prove to be the least of Mankind's worries.

In a one-shot view of the world of EVA in a more...askew fashion, Asuka gets called in to her other part-time job on her day off. Not for those who like major OOC moments. Cameos from other anime ensue, and there definitely is context.

Shinji and Rei's happy life after Third Impact. Should i say more? Oh yeah, it follow the manga ending. Also, it's collection of one-shots. And there will be kids.

The world as they knew it nearly ended, until Shinji had a change of heart at the last moment and aborted Instrumentality, giving the human race a second chance.
