Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter.
Just a bloke in the United States who owes JK for instilling the love of reading and writing. Currently working on two stories which you can find below and a brief description.
This is a 7th year story that largely follows the Deathly Hallows. The major change is a Harry/Hermione pairing. There are a few AU moments but the story mostly explores some possible differences that might have came about had Harry pursued the right girl.
Years 3-7; also follows the general structure of established canon, but will have much more AU-goodness about. This story will feature an eventual Harry/Hermione pairing, with a more pro-active Dumbledore, a different kind of Fudge, and more than one dark power vying for the heart of magical Britain.
Typical Stances on HP:
Harry and Hermione - As Rowling herself has indicated now, Harry and Hermione make a whole lot more sense than Ron and Hermione.
Harry Potter - Good kid. Flawed but with an incredibly pure heart. Smart, likes to read and study, (until Rowling Au'd that to identify more closely with Ron), and has an almost infallible good sense in recognizing the authenticity of people and their motives.
Hermione Granger - loyal, fierce, independent and would walk through fire for Harry. Rowling has proved this many times - she just chose to ignore the real motives. Oh, and her parents will never be named, Dan, or Emma. It was cute the first time, whoever gets to claim that, well done. She's incredibly intelligent, but I find the stories that equate her magical abilities on par with Dumbledore a bit unbelievable. In 50 years or so...different story.
Ron Weasley - spoiled--just not materially, struggles with jealously and had a great hunger for accolades, but would rather dine and whine; pun intended. Good heart, wants to do the right thing when the chips are down.
Albus Dumbledore - Not a criminal, a thief, or a malicious manipulator. An old man living with many regrets and mistakes but still tries to the do the right thing, even when Rowling doesn't seem to know what that is.
Draco Malfoy: This guy is a weasel. I personally don't think he had a redeeming bone in his body. Not everyone turns from the darkness, (which in this series, seems to be almost every Death Eater by the epilogue's conclusion).
Severus Snape - love to hate this guy, and to their credit, Rowling and Rickman created a fantastic character. But seriously, with a teaching background, I can say this guy would not be allowed to teach. Period.
Ron/Molly/Ginny/Weasley/Dumbledore Bashing - seriously, this isn't high school. I know plenty of people love these stories, (which is fine), just don't come looking for them here.
Everything Else: as long as it's logical (with understanding that we are all flawed writers and will inevitably forge our own plotholes), I can enjoy most any story.
