MY HUMBLE ADVICES FOR NEW WRITERS:
I have learnt over the months the importance of two things: betareaders and reviews.
BETA READERS: many writers seem to think that they don't need it, that writing in their profile "Sorry, I don't have a beta reader" is enough of a justification. Well, it's not! If you feel the need to apologize, you are implying that you need one indeed. There are hundreds official on this site, all you have to do is ask them. It couldn't be any easier.
REVIEWS: They are the only mean readers have to let you know what they think about your writing. You have to be ready and accept both good and bad ones. It happens, it's life, not everybody may like what you write, they have the right to express their opinion. Always keep in mind that deleting bad reviews, if constructive and grounded, doesn't make you a better writer! Possibly, it can only make you worse, because the only way to improve is to accept criticism and turn it into a way to improve ourself.

New beta! There is something you might need to know about me: I'm very self-critical, constantly unfulfilled and always pursuing improvement. This led me to the decision of hiring a new beta to help me reach my goal of becoming a better writer. Thank you Mike for accepting to work with me, I can't wait to see where our cooperation is going to lead!

Acknowledgements I don't think I ever did this officially. So here I am now. I owe all my improvements as a fanfiction writer to my amazing beta, Julie (https://www.fanfiction.net/u/521160/Osage). All your advices, criticisms and tips made me the 'decent' writer that I am today. Thank you for taking me by the hand, guiding me step by step and giving me the confidence to write on my own. I know you are very busy lately, and I'll never stop being grateful for everything you did for me! You are the best beta EVER.
