![]() Author has written 10 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Harry Potter, League of Legends, Marvel, Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Naruto, RWBY, and Total Drama series. Hi, this is my profile. Name: Centurion Africanus Gender: guy Species: human Age: have adult job...scary Favorite non fanfic activities: Overwatch, listening to music, reading, DnD, Fallout, Pokemon, writing Favorite animal: Dragon Favorite real animal: still gonna say dragon Chosen superpower: adaptation/ healing factor with toughening additions each healing, kinda like what Ban from the seven deadly sins manga goes through in Purgatory. Chosen pet: Big Fluffy Doggo Favorite bands: The list had grown too long. I'll listen to anything from time to time. Except country music. Favorite genre of everything: strong leading character with strong morals, some form of magic and mystery, and action, lots of action. So I don't know anyone who actually reads profiles, but I made a real one(kinda) for the hell of it. If I'm taking forever to update, I usually come up with a lame excuse and slap it on here so you guys can laugh at my attempt at excuses. Top 3 Favorite Fanfictions of all time 1. Traveler. If you have not read this and like Pokemon, read this immediately. Its a masterpiece of character development, story line, and fight scenes evenly spaced, without any main character OPAF, over-emphasis on shipping, or logic jumps. I stop everything I'm doing and read every new chapter at least twice whenever they come out. Just got onto the Discord server that the author runs. It's a fantastic is slightly random community and I love it. 2. Lightning Dragon's Roar. Despite the title, actually a Harry Potter fic with multiple crossovers. Characters are incredibly relate-able, not OP, and the dialogue is sounds like genuine human interaction in the modern era. It also makes me laugh no matter how many times I read it. 3. Drifting. I almost wish this was canon for Naruto instead of actual canon. Despite the power scaling in the Naruto world that really doesn't translate to the title of ninja, the fights all require elements of skill, not just stupid amounts of power like how canon ended. The characters are well developed and this is the only harem fic that actually is realistic in even the slightest sense. On both Naruto's side and the girl's. Naruto himself is also a much more human character than canon, a lot less tragic hero figure. Honorable Mentions- I read a lot, there are a few of these. (On this site, my Ao3 - ROMYR - has more) Rejected Stones- My Hero Academia Tides of Change- Naruto x Percy Jackson Crossover Precognition- My Hero Academia The Spider- Avengers/Marvel (Anything by I'mjusttryingtofindmyway really) Flash Point- Harry Potter Team 7's Secret Motto- Naruto Silver- RWBY Dragon Pact- Yu-gi-oh 5Ds To Touch The Sky- Naruto x Fairy Tail (So sad it got discontinued before the ending, but still a great fic.) Mystic Knight Online- Harry Potter x Sword Art Online The Overlooked Prodigy- Naruto Bungle in the Jungle: A Harry Potter Adventure- Harry Potter These are the Jewels of my favorites list, crowned by my top 3. I highly recommend reading all of them if you are fans of the respective fandoms. If these are good options the rest of my favorites list is available for perusing. My Pokemon Team Scrafty Roserade Magmortar Lucario Tinkaton Togedemaru Favorite characters from favorite series Luna Lovegood- Say what you will about the series, or what JK has done since then, but Luna is absolutely beautiful character in both her simplicity and open complexity. I absolutely love her as a character and wish she played a larger role in canon. Sabaku no Gaara- Despite making him look like an office worker in Boruto, Gaara is my favorite part of the entire Naruto series. From his immense power to deceptively strong control, he also get the most character development of any character and is still believable and likable as a character. Ruby Rose- I'll be honest, while I love the characters and the world, the plot of RWBY is trash. Despite that I still have watched the entire series so far, curse you Volume 8 ending cliff hanger, and its because of Ruby. Who she is and how human she is is the one thing this series has never gotten wrong. Chandra Nalaar- Magic the Gathering repeats characters sure. But do you really need more than a freedom loving pyromaniac who literally burns down cthulu-esque monsters. Not really Percy Jackson- For 9 books, this guy was my hero. 9 books of coping, kicking ass, and sheer guts. And the Blood of Olympus sucked, took away a lot of what made Percy, Percy. Sure it highlighted the others well, but that's the flaw of adding too many characters. Someone gets cut out and cutting out the protagonist was what ruined the book for me. There absolutely didn't need to be a full side quest of Reyna, Hedge, and Nico. There did not need to be Octavian going bananas and the camps fighting. Percy mother-fucking Jackson made the series, and it died for me when Uncle Rick basically wrote him out of it to expand his characters for profit. Eren Yeager- Someone willing to do ANYTHING for his loved ones, even sacrifice the entire world and then himself. Is that the rose-tinted way of looking at it, yeah, but goddamn if it doesn't hit me in the feels. All of Attack on Titan is just so gut wrenching and suspenseful, and Eren is the center of everything. Roronoa Zoro- As hard as it is to pick one favorite from One Piece, Zoro takes top spot in my book. His sheer intensity is comparable to Gaara's and his sheer stubbornness to Percy. Not to mention the growth he undergoes even before the time skip. To go from threatening Luffy is he gets in the way of his dream to be willing to die for him without a second thought. Although post-Wano, Yamato is a close second. Ken Kaneki- While the series devolves into nobody ever dieing and an excess of characters that are hard to keep track of, Ken is the image of tortured protagonist in a rough world. To see what his mind goes through as the series progresses is amazing to watch, and if the writers could have just cut down on the characters a bit Tokyo Ghoul would have been a top anime imo. Ichigo Kurosaki- While the series has some major issues, and Ichigo does have his flaws. He is a badass, and he has the stones to walk up to god like beings and basically spit in their faces for going after his friends. MANY plot holes and just a few too many characters, but Bleach was the anime that turned me into a full on weeb, and it deserves a place in my top list. Denji- I have never read a more human character anywhere. All of Chainsaw Man is GOD TIER, but unlike the Makima and Power simps, Denji is the star of the show for me. Don't get me wrong, I think Power, Makima, Aki, Asa, Kobeni, all of them, are amazing. But Denji, the broke stupid kid who sold one of his nuts and an eye to buy a loaf of bread to share with his one friend in the world, who just so happens to be a devil...I will never NOT be a Denji fan. That it was HIS plan that ended arc 1, the way he takes care of Nayuta. I will never mess with the world of Chainsaw Man, it's just too perfect. But damn if I don't have fun ideas for other worlds to throw Denji into. Fairy Tail and My Hero Academia are worlds that I love, but I don't necessarily love any one character like I do the ones above. My Hero has a lot of characters that bug me in canon. Izuku is too passive, Bakugo...there was exactly 1 thing they could do to make me like Bakugo and they most certainly aren't doing it, the manga has revealed that much, and Todoroki too angsty. If a had to pick favorites form there it'd be Toga or Touya/Dabi, the two of them have more depth than most of 1-A honestly. Uraraka isn't terrible, but she needs to do something more than be a token female character supporting the male cast. Fairy Tail is different. While I prefer Natsu compared to most other characters, he still falls far short of what he should have grown to become in my book. The incessant inclusion of Lucy into things also didn't help matters. In short, both are worlds I love to play in, but don't have characters that I hold to the level of the ones above. 2/24/23 So...been a while since I've done one of these huh. Finished college, got my shiny degree worth almost nothing in the real world. Had a bar gig for a sec before getting a real adult job and started adulting. Wrote all but the very last chapter in an original novel that if I can just figure out how to end is ready to find a publisher. All that put together though, means a took a step away from writing fanfiction. Read plenty of it still, found Ao3 and am considering crossposting there, much easier to filter through stories there, but my writing fell off. Will still be writing erratically, but taking a step back and writing for fun rather than on a harsh schedule has helped me relax a lot, so I won't be shutting myself in libraries with excess caffeine and forcing myself to write like I used to. Happy Reading, and for those on Ao3, my user there is ROMYR.
