Author has written 4 stories for Naruto, and RWBY. Wow I actually managed to clean this page up, removing most of the stuff here... Well this is a page where I have other stuff about my series that apparently won't go good in the actual series itself. Such as ending...such as references to other series where I drew inspiration from... You know, the stuff that I took my time to write and post. Meh, back to the good stuff. Oh and if you haven't noticed the sheer size of my favorite list...I'm more of a reader than writer. Serious...when did I break 2K...man I read a lot of stories and most of them a bit crappy in quality but good as entertainment. Not much on favouriting authors though. CURRENT SERIES: Trying to figure out if I want to post the series I'm currently working on. It's currently about 80K words long. Not to mention there are a couple of other series ideas in my head that I don't have the time to write. DROPPED SERIES: A Looped Story: Edit: 9/9/16 Officially DROPPED Reason: While the concept was sound, my execution of it wasn't. A loss of motivation and a having no idea how to progress the series without making Naruto some sort of Mary Sue basically gave me too many headaches for me to deal with. The series would've become even more ridiculous with other time looped character popping up during the Chunin Exams and later on, the timeline becomes even stranger with Kankuro being Kazekage and Orchimaru of all people becoming Mizukage... o.O what the hell was I think??? Remnant Mercenaries: Reason: Well, I lost my muse on this series and basically moved on. At least I completed the 2nd Arc though the series was meant to be a lot longer. Future arcs included saving a port town, being trapped in Mountain Glenn and waiting to be rescued, the Vytal Festival Tournament which by then, my original plan was for Ozpin to be one of Salem's hidden agents causing the end of Vol.3 to happen. Stuff on RoyalRoadL: In my opinion, the site is a decent supply of fanfics or rather original works involving VR or Gaming related things compared to most other sites. Before the site became 100% dedicated to hosting fanfics, I was part of the community that watched, worked and aided in the effort of translating LMS (Legendary Moonlight Sculptor) back when there was no true translator and it was more machine translations than anything else. Back before even Volume 10 of the LN was translated in any form and there was still 20 to get through with summaries as the only way to know what happens later in the series. It really changed...and I'm not sure for the better. I remember the site being notified that the author gave us permission to translate and host up to Vol 20 of the series and later the site being split into two with one dedicated to fanfics and the other, hosting the chapters. Since then, there were a large amount of good fics, too many horrible fics and a few true gems that was really publishing grade stuff. Actually from what I can tell, most of the top rated stuff on that site is actually a lot better quality than on Fanfiction though that would probably be due to a lot less saturation. Of course, my favourite fic there still remains as 'Necromancer' by Halosty...which is actually completed. Huh. After 16 months of Hiatus he actually completed the series. Wow I never thought I would see the day when the series would be completed. Anyway, on the forums (before when it actually had translated stuff on the site) there was a section for fanfics of the series. My first (horrible quality) fic was there and was among with first 100 fics that the site hosted (And I refuse to acknowledge it but it is technically fic number 91 on the site). Of course, my second (fic number 143) and third (number 337) fics were also hosted there with the latter being a sequel to the former. The former being my sole completed work sitting at around 450K words and 750K total views being called 'The Unfortunate Fool'. The second called 'Toys of the Fool' sits at 750K words and 330K views before I dropped it. 1.2 million words..seeing it now, I can't believe I wrote that much even if there are tonnes of errors everywhere. So yeah. Definitely have experience on writing though quality is always an issue I have to deal with. On another note, I DO have a pretty good Worm crossover with Fate/Stay-night idea that is still in planning and is literally a rewrite of a dropped 18 chapter series I never posted due to shame and mostly more shame of the quality. It might come out...eventually. And a good many Naruto fic ideas that will probably never come out because time, effort and many other countless areas. Seriously Naruto is a gold-mine of possible ideas that would work well and is easy to alter and write with. On yet another note, I wonder if there is anyone who would like me to post all the incomplete and dropped stuff I actually wrote? Sure quality may be meh but there are a couple of good scenes here and there. I'm not certainly the best writer. Also, if you want a stupidly large list of fanfic to read, go to the TV tropes page for fanfic recommendations. P.S: For those who still complain about grammar and such especially on the earlier chapters, look at almost every other story on the site. Unless you have 1-3 beta readers working many hours on each chapter to make sure there aren't any mistakes, chances are there will be mistakes. There is a reason why the ultra high quality fics tend to take many weeks to months to post a single chapter and even they slip up a couple times. And fanfiction.net isn't known for having a easy way of replying to authors aside from singular chapter reviews and PMs unlike say Spacebattles or SV. Remember, while any reviewer can criticise on what they view as wrong, it makes you a whole lot less of an ass to not review what is wrong (I.e Grammar is wrong. Grammar is crap. English must be your second/third language) but rather which parts to fix in a PM if you're really feeling not liking it that much. Seriously, what is up with people presuming that those with less than perfect grammar have english as their second language? I know more than a few authors on this site that have english as their second/third/fourth language and yet write a whole lot better than those who have lived with only english their entire lives. Though those people tend to be teenagers and I know what my writing was like back then... |
