Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, and Gemma Doyle Trilogy. I decided - for everybody - that nobody wanted to be subjected to that massive profile and so I have re-written it. I lurv the word LURV, reading, writing, singing, acting, and jumping on my bed while doing mad dances. I am currently in an amazing mood because my Daddy just bought me a wall to wall bookshelf which is a vast improvement on the many stacks of books on the floor. STORIES The Virtues of Selfishness and Altruism - this is currently my favourite story but, as I am get bored incredibly quickly, that may change. It was inspired by Ayn Rand and Kirkegaard (I hated Kirkegaard and I loved Rand). I thought it would be interesting to meld their philosophies into one character and have an optimistic altruist as an opposing force. Neither can comprehend the other's views, yet there is the unmistakable attraction. I worked with Blaise because, as this was started before the 6th HP book, not much was known about him. Hermione just worked better for keeping in character than any other female lead. If anybody can recommend any extremely hedonistic or altruistic philosophers I'd be interested in reading their work. You do not have to be a philosopher or a philosophy student to enjoy this (I barely am). Christmas With Muggles - I have updated! PRAISE THE LORD! This story came to me in a burst of light and last Christmas I worked feverishly to have it done before Christmas. Ha! Not on hiatus. It's more of - type a sentence or two a week type of stage. Classic pairing - Ron Hermione. Fluffy, full of fun, slightly comedic, plus I use the word defenestrate. 3 or 4 chapters left. Why Live Life From Dream to Dream - I love this story. It's inspired by the book A Great and Terrible Beauty as well as the sequel Rebel Angels. I've currently written it as a one-shot (I have zero spare time) but if I ever get around to it I would follow Pippa's descent into SPOILER madness throughout Rebel Angels. It starts in A Great and Terrible Beauty. Music From The Past This was originally written as a present for AniDragon on the forum FictionNet. It's a little different, bittersweet. I don't htink I'll ever write something like that can also check it out on Eros and Sapphos.Although it can technically be termed as Femslash, I think it's a lot more than that. It's more about not being alone, nothing graphic. Winner of the Femslash Category (Passion) on Multifaceted. http:///albums/y204/kiss_of_cuteness/winner_passion.png Last Breath Written as a challenge for FictionNet. It takes a look at what could possibly be the last battle, and love in the face of death. A little sad. Frog Legs For Dinner This was my first work of fanfiction. I love it to pieces. It's a Harry Potter version of Little Red Riding Hood with Lucius Malfoy posing as the big bad wolf - with a hairdressing appointment. Light, fluffy, romance. Of course I recommend you read and review my stories. I'd also like to suggestMy Immortal by rochele_88. She's a fantastic author (and as her beta I am advertising shamelessly) And No Girl Can Punch Like That by Mage Aurian - it is one of THE FUNNIEST stories I have read in a while Last but not least check out the FictionNet forum. It's an interesting place for writers, artists, and all rabid HP fans. We laugh, we sympathize and we all make it through. Say Sierra or kiss_of_cuteness sent you (points for Slytherin SCORE!) Hopefully, as a seventh year (and if you get sorted into my house) I'll be able to mentor you (mind you I also started a thread entitled "No Newbies Allowed" don't hold it against me, I even give you permission to read it. I would also like to congratulate myself for sneaking into the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms. Slytherin sneakiness. the address is sycotic dot org / fnet See you on the boards!
