Right. So I did an AMAZING revamp. Then the internet died -sighs- welcome to my life. So, here we go again! I'm a born'n'bred brit, though it's hardly as cool or as glamourous as they make it out in movies and stuff. Kinda dull... and drizzly. I'm eighteen, and trust me, it ain't anything like the 'One Tree Hill' eighteen. It's not grown up, messed up and trusting. Or good looking. But that could just be me...
I'm in love with Supernatural, and if you ask friends or family, that is a major understatement. I'm one of those nerdy fans that goes on things like TV.com or Wiki to find strange facts about episodes, like apparently Jensen Ackles looks straight at the camera waiting for his 'end of adverts' cue in Devil's Trap (that bit when he's just realised Daddy hottest- er dearest, ain't himself). Anyway, yeah, I can relate next to everything to Supernatural, which, btw, makes a good long car journey game (no, not word association, Supernatural Association!). I'm not so crazed that I'd go to a convention though, I think it's 'cause I'd find it completely awkward, I like my Jensen as a Dean, not a Jensen. Though, ya know, -wink wink nudge nudge- In hindsight, I'd love to talk to Jared and Jensen, ya know, one of those silly conversations, the pee your pants kind, which you can remember for the rest of your life. But, I'd probably go with the blush, squeak and flee protocol. Damn.
I used to be one of those Harry Potter nerds too. Seriously, go check my favourites (which I should really sort out and clean up... much like my bedroom). I can probably still be counted as a HP Geek still, if you asked I could tell you almost anything, from Draco's Grandfather's name to the name of the quill shop in Hogsmeade (Abraxas and Scrivenshaft's, if you wanna know). I was a majoy Draco/Ginny shipper if my favourites are anything to go by. D/G was such a break from the norm, ya know? Everyone knew Harry and Ginny would end up married with a bazillion kids before book seven even hit the shelves (though I know many that prayed JK would do a 180 and say 'ha!' to us all.). But, come on! Harry and Ginny? Ginny's so Fred and George-ish and Harry... Harry's so wet blanket-ish. Sometimes it's frigging annoying.
Anyway! I'm afraid I'm back to talking about Kripke's gift to Katie- or man. Whatever. Supernatural. Sorry in advance. If I ever finish and put up the countless fanfics I've started writing, they'd be under Supernatural. Someone, for Chris T.'s sake, send me a message to get my arse in gear?
And from this I can say: boo Wincest! I'm really against it. I know some people are all -fans self- but...ick. They're brothers! Even if it is in show-form. I can't understand why people don't just imagine themselves with one/other like I do. But I guess, whatever blows your dress up. -shrugs-
Which brings me to fanfics in general and vicariously angst fics. I really don't like sad endings, let alone sad stories, especially death fics. They make my stomach hurt and my eyes dampen, which I guess is the aim of the story so all for the author but I like enjoying the stuff I read and how can I do that if I'm a)blinded by the light... er tears or b) on my bed getting over heart-break pains? I'm not really keen on the extra fluffy fics either, kinda make my teeth hurt with their sugary sweetness, but mine, when up, will probably get reviews of 'you hypocrite' and stuff. I hope they aren't. I do love the genfics of the Winchesters just being family, and kicking ass together, whether they be wee! or Woah!Smoking-hot. Romance het fics blow my dress waaay up too, though I wasn't really a big fan of Jo or Cassie, I liked Bela. She had spunk. I don't mind too much if Dean finally has that 'angry sex' with her. Cassie just rubbed me the wrong way when she whined 'Dean' down the phone, and Jo looks younger than I do, and she made me cringe with that 'i-want-you-to-go-away-so-i-can-come-on-to-your-brother' look she gave Sam in the Everybody loves a Clown episode. Though Sam's reaction was funny.
Anyway, I've probably bored those who bothered reading this; I know I wouldn't have read it... although I do like the funnier bios- is this a funny one? I hope it is. Probably just sounds like a snotty, whiny teen complaining and stuff. Sorry about that. Anyway (I say that way too much, mostly 'cause I constantly veer off topic) this is the end of my bio that says nothing about me except that I crazily like Supernatural, did like Harry Potter and that, if you saw it, my name is Katie. Although that, too, can be a misconception since a lot of people call me Kate. Oh yeah, and I'm 18.
Oh! P.S. If you need a beta, I'm happy to look at your budding creations. I like to think I'm a fast replier and very thorough and not too mean. Yes, I am selling myself. Send me a message if you're interested :
