Anne Shirley came to Avonlea after only knowing the hurt that comes from love. They tried to repair her, to rebuild her, but old habits are hard to break and she disappeared into the love she thought she deserved. Old feelings begin to resurface and the two of them must unravel the grief of the past to start again.

FILM UNIVERSE AU: Anyone who knows me, knows I'm no fan of The Continuing Story, honestly good points are Megan Follows, Jonathan Crombie, Schuyler Grant and Greg Spottiswood... The few scenes Anne has with Gilbert are magical but I think thats the actors carrying the script... So here are a few ideas where I think maybe I may have preferred the story to go.

This is a story based on the second movie. I love the scene where Anne runs into Gilbert in a park in Kingsport. I've always wondered if Gilbert hadn't told Anne about Christine, would Anne have professed her love to Gilbert then? So this story is based on that assumption.

This story explores what might have happened after Convocation had Phil not mentioned the gossip about Gilbert almost being engaged to Christine. Anne would not have torn off Gilbert's necklace. Would that have been enough for Gilbert to try again? It has much more from Gilbert's perspective. This was inspired by LMM and fellow fan-fiction writers and their creative stories.

Being stuck with Gilbert Blythe during a freak snow storm wasn't Anne's idea of a good time. What happens when temptation gets the best of her? Modern AU, GGF AU. T for now, but may go up depending on how the story goes.

War is over, the boys are back, and everything has changed. Except for Una Meredith. With Faith and Rilla both married and everyone else pursuing their dreams, Una goes to stay with Anne and Gilbert. A new doctor, and Shirley's war bride keep life in the Glen unpredictable. But the arrival of a new lodger to Ingleside brings the biggest surprise of all.
