Author has written 52 stories for Digimon, and South Park.
I'm writing things but I'm about to suddenly get very busy again. I'm trying to update at least one story a month. We'll see how that goes.
21 oct 2013
I am Uki. Uki is the shortened version of "Ukaisha" which is the name I use on this website because running an author search for "Uki" would bring up like a million authors. Names are pronounced "oo-kye-sha" and "oo-kee".
Abbreviated facts about me:
-I am 22 years old. I am female.
-I am in the U.S. Army.
-Before you ask, my job is boring as all fuck. I sit in front of a computer.
-I am straight. In fact, I am married. And yet I still love yaoi.
-I absolutely love getting critical reviews. I've been writing fanfiction for ten years and I feel like I've remained stagnant in terms of progression when it comes to writing. So while I certainly appreciate well-meaning tidbits like "This was great; write more!" I'd love analytic reviews on what I could do better. I'm never satisfied with the final product and yet I can't always figure out what is wrong with it.
-I've decided that from now on I will personally message people who leave thoughtful reviews, to either respond to them or at minimum thank them. So as long as you're logged in to ff.net and have written something more than "Good!" or "Write more plz!" then I will do my best to reply :3
If you'd like to speak with me about anything, just shoot me an e-mail at Sazreazhyuu@aol.com. I'm always looking for people to talk to, especially about South Park, and I love getting e-mail.
Other things to know about me:
-You can find my NC-17 sex-filled pornographic smutslutherpderp Digimon fanfics at mediaminer.org under the penname "Puppeh."
-I love talking to people. I will talk for a million years given the chance. But I'm irrevocably shy and do not tend to approach someone for conversation on my own. If you enjoyed my stories, feel free to message me for a chat.
-I am not a professional author. This is a question I've been asked various times throughout the years and I sort of wonder why since the drivel I write isn't really something you'd find in your average bestseller. Would I ever write my own story? If I had an abundance of time and patience, maybe. But I have neither of those things, so most likely not.
-Even more frequently than that, I am criticized for my formatting. This also confuses me. The general consensus is that I write like a real-life novelist, but that I shouldn't be writing like a real-life novelist?
Look. In novels, you don't double-space in between the dialogue. You don't do it for poetry, short stories, vignettes, manuscripts, etc. You pretty much never do that ever. There is no proper form of writing that requires you to skip a line after a new person begins speaking. The only time that rule seems to apply is when they're an amateur author on a site like fanfiction.net.
If you've ever read a story of mine, you'll see that the characters are even more talkative than ME. Some of the stories I write are like 60% dialogue. Could you even imagine how much longer and how much more scrolling you would have to do to get through each story? How much emptiness would be on the page?
I can't bear it. I refuse to change it. I apologize if this inconveniences anyone, but I have been quite firm on this point for ten years, and it will likely not be changing.
-I am almost always looking for artists willing to do commissions for scenes in my stories. I've gotten several done before, but I'd always like more. I can pay a reasonable rate, although I can be a bit picky on style.
I used to be a very prolific author for Digimon Frontier, producing somewhere around 40 some fanfics for Takouji, KouKou, and a handful of others. My specialty was graphic smutfic, but that's pretty much in the past now. I doubt any of my Digimon fanfics will ever see updates.
Currently the only fandom I consider myself in is South Park.
I've been a VERY long time South Park fan. Just about since it started airing. I was slightly more than a casual fan by 2009 and dabbled in the fandom by 2011, but it wasn't until April 2013 that I officially left the Digimon fandom and entered South Park.
I love all pairings and all characters.
I cannot choose between Style and Kyman for my OTP so as far as I'm concerned they're BOTH my OTP.
Other favored pairings of note are Carters, Stendy, Kychole, Crenny, Cryde, and Pike.
Seeing as most of my preferred pairing are m/m, i find it necessary to say that I don't like clearly distinguished top/bot personality archetypes. I'm guilty of running with it in some of my older fiction, but honestly it drives me crazy. Unless it's pertinent to the plot, I prefer to think of my preferred pairings as being switches, with no clearly designated seme/uke role.
On that note, I don't differentiate between pairings by changing the shipping portmanteau. Takouji is the same to me as as Koukuya and Style is the same as Kyan. Just because I write a Style fic doesn't mean that Stan is necessarily going to top.
Most of my South Park fanfics are nice, simple, General/Friendship stories without romance with an emphasis on the platonic relations between characters.
I have a tendency to get a little long-winded and to thrust some kind of blatant moral in at the end of things.
Constructive Criticism is my favorite thing. The more you analyze something I've written, the happier I am.
That's all. Thanks for your time.
