Author has written 11 stories for Lilo & Stitch, and Zootopia.
I am happy to be joining fellow storytellers on this site! This community is truly passionate about its work, and it's a pleasure to be part of it. While I am not a writer by trade, I find through creative writing a fun opportunity to build stories and create worlds, and then to share them with others.
My particular passions with reading are rather broad: anything involving science fiction or fantasy, or something thrilling and suspenseful or adventurous. And I'm open to trying just about any type of story! I like to be challenged by strong writing, to have a piece make me think about something in a different way or to see it through a different lens. I believe that to be the real power of this medium, and I truly enjoy reading how fellow storytellers use that power as they weave their tales.
My day job is in the U.S. nonprofit sector where I work to raise funds to support people who have different types of needs. The work really challenges me to think about society and culture, and I try to bring this perspective into my works. I'm also a fan of all kinds of art, pop culture, sports and more, which fills up my free time. I work to bring thoughts on those into my stories, too.
Please feel free to connect with me via PM. Initially, I may be slow to respond--as I said, I am not a writer by trade, and my other commitments keep me from the writing desk sometimes--but I will respond. I'm interested in chatting about your stories and what drives you to write. I think we can all learn something from one another by sharing our experiences.
I look forward to engaging with many passionate fellow storytellers and their tales!

8/29/17 - Run's back, baby! I'm still on hiatus, but thanks to working with a new coauthor, Ande883, Run is returning. We're close to the conclusion, and we'll work hard to get it done. Please thank Ande for his hard work and dedication to this project!
6/28/2017 - I am on indefinite hiatus. I've so enjoyed my time on this site. I've met some wonderful people who have encouraged me to chase down my dream of writing fiction. And I've decided to do just that and begin the process of working toward publication. Unfortunately, that will require me to step away from this site and my stories.
I am eternally grateful to all of you for helping to shape and define who I am as a writer. This place will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you all so much.
I will do my best to respond to any outstanding PMs and notes. And you are welcome to reach out to me, but please know that it may be some time until you hear from me.
All my best, and happy reading to all ~ Euphonemes
1/23/17 - I wanted to take a moment to announce a brand new project that is in the works. It's the story of an ordinary mammal who, after being subjected to a massive dose of Night Howler serum, finds himself gifted with incredible powers. He has the strength of twelve average-sized otters. He can hear his wife shouting at him from a mile away. And he can run away faster than the train to Zootopia.
Emmitt Otterton is The Night Prowler
The new story is in progress, with Berserker88 contributing significantly to it. I had planned to start it right after Run ended, but it might be starting a little sooner. We will see.
If you want a sneak peek of what's to come in the story, check out Quirky-Middle-Child on and . He's completed a truly gorgeous cover for the project, and it'll give you a taste of what you'll see in the story. Head over to his page and check it out! Thanks, Quirky! ~ Euphonemes
8/31/16 - Thank you to all of my supporters! Your thoughts, insights and friendships are truly appreciated. Though there is still a lot going on in life, I am eager to begin posting more regularly. My Zootopia story, "Run", is my focus for now, though I do plan to return to "The Fire of Futures Past" and complete it. I'm looking into some of my other stories as well to figure out what to do. I've also been enjoying the chance to read some great pieces on this site! Thank you for your support and your stories! ~ Euphonemes
6/18/16 - You'll see something like this posted on the most recent updates to my stories, but I wanted to put this here, too. These past few months have been exceptionally busy with some big life changes, so I haven't been able to spend as much time as I'd like on writing my fics. Moving forward, I'll be playing around with some different ways of posting my updates. The updates should be more regular but will probably consist of smaller parts. Hopefully, this should help narrow the gap between postings.
I enjoy writing these stories, and I'll keep working on them as much as I can. I appreciate your patience as I find my balance. Thank you all for reading and sharing in these worlds and characters with me! ~ Euphonemes
