Author has written 54 stories for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Kingdom Hearts, Tin Man, and Alice in Wonderland, 2010.
There are a few things I need to let you know of: Greek, fangirl, shipper and overly obsessed with my heroes and ships.
I am a conventional/unconventional shipper - depending on the ship.
I love anime, cartoons, comics, fiction and science-fiction (movies, series and books), video games and living in my own world when the real one is being an ass.
I WOULD LIKE TO ASK GUESTS (AND NOT) TO REFRAIN FROM LEAVING ME COMMENTS CALLING ME NAMES INSTEAD OF CORRECTING ANY SPELLING OR GRAMMAR OR OTHER KIND OF MISTAKE TO HELP IMPROVE MY WRITTING STYLE. IT IS UNBECOMING OF YOU.
TO THE ONE WHO JUST LEFT ME THAT REALLY OFFENSIVE COMMENT; YOU ARE A SAD, STRANGE, LITTLE MAN AND YOU HAVE MY PITY.
This probably needs a good long list of favourites, but I am as lazy as a Slakoth at the moment. Promise to work on it later, though.
So,stuff I like;
*Anime/Cartoons: Naruto, FairyTail, One Piece, Pokemon, Digimon, the Disney/Pixar/DreamWorks collection, Over the garden wall, Batman, Spiderman, Justice League, X-Men, Avatar: the last Airbender, Avatar: the legend of Korra,
*Movies: The MCU, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Chronicles of Narnia, Eragon, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, How To Train Your Dragon, Mune, Avatar: the last Airbender, the Disney/Pixar/DreamWorks collection, Star Wars, Galaxy Quest, Alice in Wonderland (2010), Strange Magic,
*Series: Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil, The Walking Dead, Grimm, Sleepy Hollow, Bones, The Mentalist, Blindspot, Agent Carter, Doctor Who, Life, Under the dome, Tin Man,
*Books: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The 39 Clues, Artemis Fowl, The Inheritance Cycle,
*My otps (and hence my favorite characters): SkyeDaisy Johnson/Phil Coulson (romantically) - YoYo/Mack - Meldrew (come on, Melinda May has never before looked more happy than when she was with her ex, Andrew Garner) - Sparrabeth - Eragon/Arya - Creese - Booth/Bones - Jane/Lisbon - 9/Rose (mainly, Doctor/Rose generally, it's in the same category and I'm certainly not overly against other Doctor/companion (see Clara) pairings - just, I got into DW with Rose,so...) - Artemis Fowl/Holy Short (sue me, I'm into interspecies relationships) - Rey/Finn - Harry/Ginny (though I was never a hardcore shipper) - DG/Glitch (what? I'm into ships like that one) - Alice/Hatter - Bog/Marianne -
Oddly enough, I never went into 'shipper mode' with LotR, because Aragorn/Arwen and Sam/Rosie were endgame and so was Faramir/Eowyn, and I'll admit it, I was more into the story than the ships. Same goes with most of the series I watch, actually.
(*The order does not signify I like others more, though I am currently more into Daisy/Phil and AoS.)
[Oh, yeah. I had a small problem with uploading my first story, so I ended up with it twice. Eh, well. 9 hours later: fixed that, now I'm correcting a bunch of typos. This is my life...]
My Sith Lord origin stories:
1. amazing people that fight for the Light/justice/to protect the world shipped with all the evil/bad dudes/gals that belittle, abuse and hurt them in every way possible and the rest of the Universe (see Daisy/Ward, Rey/Kylo, Phil/Price, Kara/Ward,... ) or people that keep saying the the bad guys didn't get a choise or can be redeemed or they were brainwashed or whatever, when it clearly is stated that they are bad, they don't want redemption, it was their free will to go murder and manipulate innocents, or people who are being dicks to cast and crew of series' because their 'otp' sank or a possible, respecting match to one half of their ship was introdused, or treating adults like children of someone they flirted with and partially-identified their relationship as frindship just because there is an age gap.
Also, I can't deal with shippers being shits to other shippers - it puts me off their ships, when I had no problem with their existance.
(I had a shipper comment on a personal post, that hadn't be tagged to their ship or commented on their ship's post, and treat me like I was attacking them. I haven't been able to stop since then the gag reflex on the ship's mention/appearance. And I hate that. It's not the ship's fault that people are ready to be dicks to others who don't ship their ship or express thoughts on the shippers rather than the ship.)
2. no tags
People with a 25-year gap can get married. It happens in real life.
Thor Odinson is roughly 2.965 years older than Jane Foster. No one ever had a problem with them hooking up. (And it's only because Chris Hemsworth isn't almost 3.000 years old, I bet. Nothing to do with Thor being alien with longevity.)
The Doctor/companion ships have a distinct age gap and most of them are cool with it - though I've seen 12/Clara shippers getting shit for the age gap. (11/Clara was fine though, wasn't it?)
Fantasy is based off of reality. No one wants to be with a murderer/abuser. We want someone to treat us well. Why ship something like that in a movie or a show? It's not healthy.
The fact I have Sith Lord origin stories is a serious problem for me, because I am a Jedi the rest of the time.
I am terribly sorry for the rant, but I just had to write it down and off my chest. I've seen people saying shit for my ships, mostly for DAISY/PHIL, like Daisy, a woman of almost 30 years is some little girl and Phil's stealing the craddle or something. And when the illogicality of bad ships - like heroine/Nazi, when said heroine couldn't give a fuck whether he lived or died - is pointed out, my ship is the bad one. Oooookay. Again, sorry, I'm getting off on another rant.
About me; usually calm and sunny, until you come into this house of mine and provoke me. Then I Hulklash Out on a sarcastic death glare level.
(Well, I suppose you know that already. *rubs the back of her neck awkwardly*)
EDIT: 14/2/16 - ReEdit: 19/11/16
OK, so. I did not want to bust out as a bitter person, but.
GOOD SHIPS: Daisy/Coulson, Daisy/Trip, Daisy/Mack, Daisy/YoYo, Trip/Coulson, Mack/Coulson, Mack/YoYo, Andrew/Melinda, Jemma/Will,
(All are based in trust and love and companionship on both parties) (I'm sure I'm forgetting a few)
BAD SHIPS: Daisy/Ward, Daisy/Hive, Daisy/Lincoln, Coulson/Price, May/Coulson, May/Ward, Kara/Ward,
(All are either abusive or used to only prop the male half)
(Also, based on the false idea of S1 Bus Family, and more often than not, the 28-year-old female lead - Daisy Johnson - is turned to a child, just to be used as a prop for a ship)
As a 26-year-old myself, I find it...distressing that people, sometimes even younger than me, feel ok with turning a character of almsot 30 years to a child just to prop a ship. You can not like a ship, without being misogynists and turn a woman to a child. Also, since we know said character's parents, don't be assholes and erase her parents just to prop your ship. On that note, you can't say it was a good relationship when the guy spent all his time victim-blaming and belittling the woman, nor that is was cute when the woman made jokes about the guy's lost arm, while belittling another woman and being generally sketchy. And no, the worst thing ever is shipping a woman of color with a NeoNazi and/or with his dead corpse.
I'm not saying you can't, because apparantly shipping something unhealthy is ingrained to a lot of people's mindsets, but you can not be assholes about other ships and the characters individually. Like, not erasing Daisy's age and parrentage. You can at least do that, if you're ok with ignoring her wishes of being called 'Daisy' and 'Skye' anymore, or the fact she hated Ward. But maybe, I am asking too much, even with that. It is hard to comprenhend that people with an age gap are suitable for each other. (Unless the actor/actress don't look the part, am I right?) Or that being stranded in outer space for six months you can develop feelings for someone who's been nothing but a gentleman. Or that you can love your ex husband and still make a tough choise about them, because you love this man and you know he will hurt by the knowledge of his actions, because he has always been a good and caring man. But when you're so deep into 'I am an entitled bipedal lifeform that the show must pamper to all my demands by redeeming NeoNazis, or turn the protagonist into a little girl to prop my ship, or kill the protagonist so my supporting characters become the mains, or kill the protagonist because she is not fucking the corpse and is just a whinning bitch' mode, it's easy to miss what is actually going on with a show.
And maybe I am being passive-agressive, but by Garthbar's hammer, by the suns of Worvan, I will not stand idly against the injustices to ships and charactes that repressent real life. Because if you're ok with stuff like that in a show, that implies you would accept it in real life. You would see a woman as someone's daughter if they had an age difference, even if you could tell they aren't related. You would think a woman not accepting to be the vessel of redemption of some abuser, is just some bitch and that the abuser deserved better. If you say, you don't accept that in real life, why would you in a show? A show is not a platform to be freely misogynistic and racist; it is were you actually admit to it.
And I'm not saying I'm perfect, not by a long shot. I have said bad shit about good characters before. I might have shipped bad ships. But I want to believe I do try to be better.
