Author has written 5 stories for Final Fantasy VII, and Tales of Symphonia.
Hey dudes, see you're catching up on some writer reading there. Good for you.
The name's Ruth, aka Deltadasher, or the Offworld Lamb.
What was once an avid Final Fantasy VII writer is now an 'I prefer to write my own crap, but I guess I can try my hand at fanfiction again' person. Wait, did that sentence make sense?
Did you know that it's always better to check the map before making an epic adventure across it? Seriously, great fun figuring out where people are meant to go now that I realise the maps that I know don't actually make sense any more. CURSES!
But fun will still be had. Because working things like that out are fun (sometimes), and make it all worthwhile in the end.
And from now on, I will actually get someone to beta my fics. My sister is reading one I just put up, and it's full of smudges.
Constructive criticism is okay, as long as it's well interspersed with 'but it's really okay!' or 'it's amazing, seriously!'. I will take advice, but only with magnificent amounts of praise. Saying I smell nice or am pretty is good too. No lemons, or I'll burn your house down. With the lemons.
And sorry if my writing accent knocks you out of it a little. I tend to write ever so British, despite being from Wales. Writing an American accent can be hard, unless you're constantly thinking in one, and then you just get a really stereotypical one, and no one likes that.
Sorry for the stuffy Brit, basically!
