BBC Sherlock Holmes
i feel like i'm leaving something out...but i can't quite figure it out...
slash/yaoi/shonen-ai/boy love/whatever the hell else you wanna call it, is what more or less makes up what i write and what is on my faves list. not your cuppa? get over it and leave me be. i do read het pairings sometimes and occasionally find it sweet and endearing. also, i'm a rather twisted person. god only knows what you'll find in my fiction or in what i read. fair warning.
i positivly cannot stand stories where authors make the main character have sex with everyone they see. these are also known as harem fics. i don't read those.
i don't mind OOCness if it happens gradually and with a purpose.
i detest horrid spelling and grammar. i understand everyone makes mistakes, but a page full of crap is inexcusable. if i find a relatively 'new' fic (only a few chapters long that is) that has some promise to it, i will make a remark and see what is produced next chapter. if not better (or improving), i stop reading.
i may only review once, but that does not mean i've stopped reading a fic.
UPDATES...i work full time. writing fanfiction isn't my top priority anymore, but i won't leave a story unfinished if possible. also, i am more inclined to update a story if a lot of people are reading and reviewing it. BUT, that doesn't mean i won't update if you don't review. it will just take a bit longer.
in general, i am not an action writer. i've never really tried...maybe i'll get around to that one day. i suppose you could call me a...drama writer more than anything else. though, i'm not entirely sure you could call what i write drama either...anyway, the point of this kiddies, i'm sorry if you find what i write boring. if you want blood and guts and gore, go find someone else's stories to read.
my twisted self:
i generally read science fiction/fantasy. I enjoyed the Red Wall series, and was sad to hear of Brian Jacques passing. Harry Potter was good up until the 5th/6th book(if you wish to know more, ask and i'll tell). The Sword of Shannara was the best book in the whole series in my humble little opinion. Twilight was good as brain candy. it really wasn't a masterpiece or anything. and the movies suck.
i have two small dogs. both are absolutely insane. i think it's a reflection on myself...
i prefer vanilla vodka with my orange soda, thank you very much.
i rather enjoy a good angst filled story, but it has to have a happy ending. i loves me a happy ending.
i occasionally spout out words in french during conversations.
i happen to be of the female gender.
age: you really don't need to know that. at least 18 or as old as dirt. i'll let you pick.
name: you may call me Cap'n, or any other variation of my pen name. "hey you" works fairly well also.
IMPORTANT DECISION REGARDING ZORA FOREVER
so, Fenrir Riku has motivated my lazy ass and encouraged me to revise ZF. it only took a year...i think...shame on me. but! i have taken down the story. it is gone. what's been put up, is the new chapter one. hopefully, revisions should go swiftly, being as the fic was relatively short anyway, and it was done(not very well mind you, but complete is complete) and there really is no plot to ZF. it's just mind candy. so yeah. there we go. i think that's all i need to say. except for you to go read. so go! go read and review!
9/29/13 update on revisions to Zora Forever
so...i really have no excuse for myself. i wish i did other than the fact that real life has gotten in the way. i will not give up though, i will continue.
