Author has written 13 stories for Song of the Lioness, Harry Potter, and Star Trek: 2009.
I am a huge fan of fan fiction. I stumbled onto FanFiction.net in late May of this year and since then have read several hundred fics in various categories (I am a huge, and very fast, reader). Some were great, some were good, some I try not to remember as the brain tends to block out traumatic experiences. Now, I will try my hand at this, and I expect (hope!) that some people will find my pieces enjoyable, creative, and in character with the original sources. I also expect some people will consider my works traumatic experiences, or else get mild cavities (I'm sorry, in advance, to those who love angst and death fics. I may put characters through horrible traumas, but in the end, the characters will triumph and get together. Yes, I am a fluff-lover!) and I will see the reviews stating such in one of a number of ways: a) as a learning experience and possible way to improve my writing, b) the result of strange, disturbed, or psychotic minds, c) the bitter ramblings of a failed fanfic writer, d) the results of college students who have been studying for six days straight, living off caffeine tablets and emerging only at 03:16 every morning to forage and take a washroom break, or e) a combination of some or all of the above. Whatever the source, I will read and absorb or laugh and ignore reviews and feedback.

2011 Update: I actually still have several Tamora Pierce stories plotted/started/planned, as well as in Harry Potter, but real life and new obsessions interfere regularly. I may very well post more in these categories, my first fanfiction loves, but am often distracted by the plot bunnies of various new favorite tv shows, movies and books. Sorry to those who are looking for more; life, inevitably, finds a way to interfere with my preferred reality.
