Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter.
Hello fellow fanfic members! I never really thought about putting anything in my profile, but I guess it doesn't hurt.
As of right now, I am a (very busy) college student in the veterinary science field. My updating tends to vary upon my schedule, which can change from one day to the next, so an updating schedule would be near impossible to give for you devoted readers and I apologize for that. Besides veterinary science, I am very fond of English - more specifically, the writing aspect of it. I write anything from poetry, short stories, novellas, to novels and I do hope to one day publish, at least one book, whether it be a collection of poems or a novel (preferably a novel).
Enough about me, more about the stories I write. I am, at the moment, strictly Harry Potter, though I read lots of other stories as well. Harry Potter is my favorite and I know it the best to write my own version of events. And they all include Severus Snape relationships. So if that's what you enjoy, you've come to the right place. The series I have now, Second Chances Reality, is one where Harry enters a new reality after dying in the original and wakes as Severus's and Lily's only son.
So, as a few people have asked me what the chronological order of the Second Chances Reality series is, I've decided to put it in my profile for all to see. This is the order:
Second Chances Reality:
1. Say Daddy
2. Little Mockingbird
3. Runaway Baby
5. Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Weekend
6. Beat the System
7. The Love Doctor
8. Harry Meets the Weasley Twins
9. Love is Not a Competition
10. To Have a Second Chance
11. S is for Sam
12. Monster from the Chamber
13. The Talk
14. To Destroy a Second Chance
I will update this list as I add more one-shots and shorts. Of course, for those who have read To Have a Second Chance know that it would probably be more accurate starting after Runaway Baby, but since it was the original and includes Harry's first year, I figured it'd best fall as the ninth story in the series.
And for those who love reading about my original character Sam, there is To Deserve a Second Chance, which doesn't really fall in any chronological order, similar to To Have a Second Chance. It is considered more of a stand-alone story. Don't worry, it is not abandoned; I swear I will finish it. The other stories just seem to be in higher demands than that particular one. I've got to please the crowd.
Cripple Me is a more traditional Snape adopts Harry story. Still in the process and will not be abandoned.
Learning Friendship is a different story than I am used to writing, inspired by a challenge on Potions and Snitches.
My Little Runaway, where Harry is seven and Severus is finding out everything he doesn’t want to hear about the poor kid’s life.
After much convincing on a friend's behalf (I'm talking months here), I have finally decided to share my own story through a fictional account of a child's life in the foster care system. Because it is an original story with no fan characters, it is published on FictionPress (all you need is your fanfcition account). The story is not an autobiography and it is loosely based on my life. However, most of what this child goes through, I myself had been through, and I will try to keep it as similar to my own experience as I can, which shouldn’t be too hard. The story is about the damaging effects of child abuse, the corrupt foster care system (keep in mind: there are good foster homes out there), and what a little hope and faith can do for a frightened child looking for a family. I hope it reaches out to those who are in or have gone through a similar situation. The story:
There is Hope: They tell all the children that foster care is safe, but they forget to mention that learning to survive is key. Jessica Rivers knows this, and she also knows that she is an unwanted odd child, with unusual quirks and behaviors, who might never find her forever home in this corrupt system . . .
Find it on FictionPress under the same author's name! Though I hear searching for fiction on that site tends to be tricky. Here is the link to the story.
Wow, I'm just setting myself up for writing overload. Haha!
Not sure how many people actually read these profiles (I do all the time!), but if you made it this far: congratulations.
