~UPDATE - Saturday May 21st, 2:35 a.m.~
Greetings, all! I am happy to report that I have just written, typed up, and posted the very first chapter of my very first Marx Brothers story entitled Murder! It's a rather long chapter, as far as my chapters go, and I rather like it! So go check it out and leave a review, por favor!
I'm also happy because yesterday Tommy convinced me to go to the opening of Star Wars 3 with him, like he did with the last one. Of course I agreed (I just can't say no to him, darn it!) and I must say that it is much better than 2, though it did make me cry when you know who did you know what to the you know whats at you know where. I can't say more because I don't want to give it away, but it's so sad! I must admit that Hayden Christiansen was a much better actor in this one, not so wooden and stiff. And Ewan MacGregor was superb! Plus little Yoda was adorable and flippy! It's a must-see! I'm not one for Star Wars but even I admit that it was a great movie. Unfortunately I didn't see anyone in strange costumes at the theater. Sad.
However, today something horrifying happened to me! Whilst getting ready for the job interview I had today (which went rather well, by the way) I couldn't find my green blouse and came down the stairs to look for it as I was getting ready and in a hurry. Unfortunately Tommy had neglected to tell me that he was having a friend over for lunch. A very male friend. A very heterosexual male friend. A very heterosexual male friend who I had only met like once before. So here I am running into the kitchen in slacks, shoes, and a bra and I see some strange man sitting at the table and staring at my chest! Talk about embarassing! Well, after finding my shirt I'm on my way out the door when the guy has the nerve to hit on me! Honestly, I'm not even safe in my own home! Why does this stuff always have to happen to me?
I'm almost completely over the incident, however, and am currently eating some yummy coffee flavored yogurt and listening to Motley Crue, waiting for inspiration to strike me. I feel like writing, but apparently my muses have all gone on holiday. How sad. But I did start a new story, so I feel rather accomplished. Of course, I wrote it about four days ago and just now got around to posting it, but that's completely irrelephant!
I've also been having another filksong bouncing 'round in my head. This one's gonna be about Moody and done to the tune of 'Lydia the Tattooed Lady' by Groucho Marx. It's been in my head for about a month, but I haven't written it down or elaborated on it or anything. It should be entitled Moody the Paranoid Wizard, I think. I was also considering collaborating all of my filksongs into one story called Hogwarts, A Musical. Whaddayathink? But then I'd lose all my lovely reviews. I'm undecided, I've been pondering. I'll get around to posting the new song soon.
And a couple of weeks ago I wrote a lovely Hermione/Draco fic called Frank Sinatra Syndrome for the wonderful Cyropi of fiction.net for the gift exchange. It's my first attempt at mushy stuff, so please be nice if you review.
I've gotten many lovely reviews lately, thanks to all who sent one my way! Keep 'em comin'! They do make me smile so!
I plan on updating my Love Potion and Snapeman stories soon, so all rejoice! Yes, it's been a while. I apologize, there were circumstances beyond my control and I shall have new chapters up soon.
Anywho... Go check out my fiction already, what are you waiting for? Don't sit here and listen to me ramble about myself, be amused and entertained by my lovely works of fiction!

~FANFICTION I ENJOY and DON'T ENJOY!~
I enjoy the fanfiction worlds of Harry Potter, X-Men, Justice League, Lord of the Rings, Starsky and Hutch, Tombstone, Dragonball Z, Star Wars, and anything else that sparks my interest at the moment.
I like genres that include, but are not limited to, humor, mystery, poetry, drama, and sometimes romance, if it is tastefully written.
I will read slash if it is tastefully written and the pairing makes sense. For instance, if it was Snape and Lupin and was nice and un-graphic, then I would read it. If it's got a strange pair, like one I read recently, then I will not read it. I was reading a story about Lupin getting trapped in a Gringotts vault and Snape having to rescue him but getting attacked during the full moon and I'm like 'Hmm, this is interesting, he's gonna be a werewolf' but then in a later chapter it reveals that Snape and Dumbledore were married? Can we say 'ewww'?And what does that have to do with anything?
I also am not fond of cross-generational romances, like Gimli and Gandalf, Harry and McGonagall or some such nonsense.
And I read stories of all ratings, but don't read ones that are pure violence or sex. For example, 'Starsky ran around and killed everyone in the police headquarters with a sword and then went outside to go slaughter some pedestrians on the sidewalks' or 'Hermione and Professor Flitwick went around the school finding different places in which to shag like bunnies' are not really what I'd like to read about.
These things just aren't my cup of tea. So if your story is described in the 'things I don't like to read' categories, don't email me and ask me to read it, K? Because I'll read it and then write you back that I didn't like it and then you won't like me anymore.
Other than that, if you think you've got a story that I'd like and you'd like my opinion, please tell me the name of it in a review or email. I'll be sure to read it and give my honest opinion in a cheery review!
