Hi! My name is Erin.
I'm also a complete history nerd, even majoring in the subject in college. My main focus and love is early US history. Love the Colonial era, Revolutionary War era, and of course (though it's later) Civil War era.

I'm always looking for fanfic friends so if anyone out there wants to chat, please feel free to contact me! Being a Jurassic Park fan is a plus! :)
I really appreciate all the reviews I've been getting for A Tiger's Advocate and Cost of Compromise lately. I apologize for my extremely long period of not updating, but I have very limited internet access right now, so it's very difficult to post anything. I haven't forgotten my fics! I'm happy to announce that "A Tiger's Advocate" is now being worked on for the first time in months! And if anyone has any inspiring words or just wants to talk about absolutely nothing, IM me or send me a message through here. I'd love to talk to anyone about my fics and theirs!
What I'm working on:
Only the Heart Can See- My new Pocahontas fic pairing Thomas/Pocahontas- coming along slowly but surely.
"Teamwork"- Jurassic Park. I have no idea what to title it so this'll do for the moment. Starring Robert Muldoon and his team. They set out to make Jurassic Park as safe as can be. But, with John Hammond in charge, how will they bring Jurassic Park up to Muldoon's standards? I haven't posted it yet. I want to finish it before it goes up because of its length.
A Tiger's Advocate- Jurassic Park. Title changed from "The Hunt". This is a pre-JP starring Robert Muldoon and Roland Tembo.
Ahab- A Roland Tembo fic starting right after Jurassic Park and continuing through The Lost World. It also mixes in ideas from Melville's Moby Dick and Doyle's The Lost World.
Fics of the Future:
Well, I've been wanting to write a Gone With the Wind fic for some time now, but I have to find the right subject for it. I consider that novel a masterpiece and am very picky about what to right about it.
Also, I have so many JP fics (mostly one shots) spinning around in my head now. The movie holds a special place in my heart!
Hmmm...that's a tough one. Grant/Ellie- only if it's an interesting fic. Usually I don't care for that pairing. They're much better as Student/Professor. Ian/Ellie- that's a good one, right Stephanie :) And please no Ian/Sarah! I absolutely hate that pairing- but... if it's good and well written, I'll read it; I promise. Other than that, there's not much else to work with unless you get into the slash side of things, but I really don't see me writing a Billy/Alan.
Although I love a good JP fic, I'm growing tired of Ian and/or Grant going back to the islands, getting chased around for a few days, and miraculously being saved by Ellie, the army/navy..., or a dino (come on, I let it go in the movie, but enough is enough). Be original, please!
Hook/Tink, Tink/Charmer (my fairy from "Charmed"), Wendy/Hook, maybe Peter/Tink. Sorry, but I'm so tired of Wendy/Peter.
John/Pochontas (but it's getting old...like 400 years this year, old!); Pocahontas/Thomas; Nakoma/_ ( I won't say now. I have a fic in progress with her paired with someone unexpected!)
Gone With the Wind:
Rhett/Scarlett, Rhett/Melanie, Rhett/Belle
Jurassic Park: Robert Muldoon, Roland Tembo, Ian Malcolm, Ray Arnold, Dennis Nedry,Henry Wu, Lewis Dodgson...well, everyone!
Peter Pan: Tinkerbell, Hook, and Smee
Pocahontas: Thomas, Wiggins, Nakoma, Ben, Lon, Meeko, Flit...and of course I do love Pocahontas and John.
Gone with the Wind: Who do I not like? Every character in here I adore. They are amazing. My three favs are, of course, Rhett, Scarlett, and Melanie. Belle deserves more love too!

"No heaven will not ever Heaven be;
"God wouldn't allow dogs to be banned from Heaven. After all, He created them to be a man's companion in life, why would he separate them in death?" Unknown
"He is you friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."Unknown
"...I believe life has value, and I don't want to waste it thinking about clothing. Truly, can you imagine anything more boring than fashion? Professional sports, perhaps. Grown men swatting little balls, while the rest of the world pays money to applaud." Ian Malcolm, Jurassic Park
"My darling, you're such a child. You think by saying, 'I'm sorry', all the errors and hurts of years past can be remedied, obliterated from the mind, all the poison drawn from old wounds..." Rhett Butler, Gone with the Wind
"I'm saying this is the South. And we're proud of our crazy people. We don't hide them up in the attic. We bring 'em right down to the living room and show 'em off. See, no one in the South ever asks if you have crazy people in your family. They just ask what side they're on." Julia Sugarbaker, Designing Women
"I was blessed with humble beginnings" Dolly Parton
"Cowboys don't cry, and heroes don't die. Good always wins, again and again. And love is a sweet dream that always comes true. Oh, if life were like the movies, I'd never be blue" Alan Jackson, "Here in the Real World"
Alright, please check out my fav authors and stories. They are really great, otherwise why would I put them up?
