Author has written 1 story for Final Fantasy VII.
Greetings to everyone who stumbles across my humble abode here on FanFiction.net. Illusory Flame, previously titled Ignis Fatuus, is my first fanfiction on here, and probably my last too... I've pretty much discovered that fanfiction isn't something up my alley, although I've still learned so much thanks to writing Illusory Flame.
As for how long I might be writing IF, I recently did a calculation about that... I've determined that if the entire trilogy of IF is at least ninety chapters long, and, minus the chapters that I've already written, I update at least once a month... it'll be around six years before you'll see the conclusion. XD Honestly, I'm not sure myself if I'll be able to persist on the story for that long, but I love the story so much as it is that I personally would love to see it through to the end. Although, that does depend on how many readers I have too... I mean, it would be pointless to have slaved over it for so long and have no one to read it; that just makes me sad to think about. :( Nonetheless, I've never been able to write a story from beginning to end before, so I believe this is good practice if I want to become a published (hopefully best-selling!) author someday.
~ Otherwise ~
To say the least, I'm an eccentric, nerdy geek. I enjoy nothing more than sitting at home, either in front of the computer moniter, the television screen, or savoring the seclusion of my room. I'm obssessed with the color purple, contemporary rock bands like Breaking Benjamin and Seether, and my two dogs (a Sheltie and a Golden Retriever) who I absolutely love to death. I dislike sunlight, icky foods like lasagna, and have a powerful distaste towards most modern comedy movies. I'm usually quite mature, but I'm also quite sensitive inside and out, and often it's quite difficult for me to suppress my emotions. But, I can assure you that I respect everyone and everybody if they respect me, and only turn nasty towards those that don't. I'm at least halfway decent in most things I attempt, though I still have doubts about myself even in the things that I'm most proficient in. Slowly, though surely, I have developed more confidence in myself. :)
~ For Your Information ~
Just to let you know, I am a very open-minded and receptive person, and am willing to accept advice from anyone who offers it. Whenever I do write a fanfiction, more often than not it will feature a horde of original characters; I have a lot of difficulty working with the canon characters. Unfortunately, though, many an original character have received a bad name thanks to Mary Sues/Gary Stus, and hence people tend to criticize fics that feature original characters a little more harshly. Feedback in any way, shape, or form will be hugely appreciated, although flames will go ignored simply because they're not "constructive criticism" and are highly immature. Also, please, PLEASE alert me of any grammical or spelling errors (or mistakes in general) where my spellchecker and I might have slipped up. You will help console the worrywart perfectionist I am.
~ A huge thanks to ~
My fellow authors -ashanara-, Leah Black, M. E. Gryphon, Crazy Hyper Active Nyx, Aria Sonata, Vanity Weasel, and MirokuTK, my editor Midnattsol a.ka. Phaidor, any and all readers and reviewers, and anyone else who continues to support what I do. Even if it doesn't seem like I acknowledge it all the time, it really means so much to me. Maybe my story isn't the best around, and I still yearn to have more than the review count I have now, but I cherish the praise I have received so much, I can't emphasize it enough.
THANKS AND HUGS TO ALL!

~ Where Else I Dwell ~
~ Just the perfect place for being able to share the AMVs (Advent Children and Final Fantasy X-2, respectively) that I like to create sometimes. I haven't got much up, but I assure you from the feedback I receive, it's certainly worth checking out. Also, a Kadaj tribute I created was an action finalist in Anime USA's recent AMV contest AND 2nd Place in a Final Fantasy VII contest on YouTube, so there's some credit to my skills. :)
~ Finally, I have some of my art here on my DevArt account! Like YouTube, I don't have much up yet, but I hope to be uploading lots more in the future! Especially now that I have Photoshop CS4 Extended AND a Tablet. :D Also, I finally have some fanart up of my OCs, Kallie and Aurei, for those of you who want to know what they look like!
~ And yes, I have pictures of my three costumes to show off! I've only made Yuna from Final Fantasy X, Songstress Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2, and Gijinka Kyogre from Pokemon so far, but I am determined to keep making more. According to the overwhelming reception I always get at anime conventions, I certainly make a very good Yuna, so I would love it if you took a look.
Illusory Flame even, then now's the time to ask! I can't guarantee I'll get to your question immediately, but I'll do my best to answer them all... if they're appropriate, that is. :P~ Just something I thought I'd put up for fun. For those of you who aren't familiar with Formspring, it's basically a site where you can ask a person there any question you want! I do have my account set up so that you have to be a logged in member in order to ask me a question, but you can do so anonymously if you want. If you've ever wondered something about me, or have a question about

-sigh- I'm such a terrible person, aren't I? My fanfic finished by January 2011. Yeah, right... Well, that was the plan, it really was. But, other stuff got in the way. During winter break, the time when I was SUPPOSED to write the final two chapters... I got about three pages done, and then I just lost motivation. Simply put, I think I just got sick of writing and I just wanted to start doing other things that I was far more interested in (I namely blame this on finally getting a DS Lite and Pokemon SoulSilver as an early Christmas present, lol). And then, after a while, I finally decided that I just needed a damn break. I knew that my writing was getting stale, and I needed to refresh myself.
Though I have no idea exactly how many people bother to read this section, I have been meaning to update this, I really have, just because I don't want to leave all these people who have been reading my story in the dark about what's going on. Simply put, I honestly just got lazy about it. Why? Who knows, I'm a frikkin' procrastinator. I've especially been bad about it this particular semester of college. 2011 has been a really rough year for me thus far, I'll say that much. It's actually been a real relief not to have to write anything, to be honest.
However, I HAVE been starting to pick up writing again, and that does mean Chapter 32! I'm not going to promise that I'll be finishing it anytime soon--in fact, I'm never going to promise or guarantee anything anymore with this fanfic, just because I don't want to hold myself down like this, especially on something that's not my biggest focus anymore. The only guarantee that I will make is that I do plan to finish this story, there's no question about that. It's so close to finally being done, this story I've been working on (the first third of it, anyway), how I possibly just let it sit unfinished? I am really hoping to have it done by the end of this summer, but again, no guarantees.
That's all for now, folks. See y'all around!
