[June 2019: A while back, I got a comment on AO3 asking if the story Awakening was going to be updated. This was my response.

I want to, but the chapter was being difficult back when I was motivated to write it. Now it's been months and while I'm not really in any other fandoms, I haven't been able to come back to this story yet. I'm still here, clearly, but I didn't plan this story out at all. To be honest, I rushed. I just made a character and threw her in.

I've mentioned before that I wrote a prequel to this, which is why I rushed into this sequel. I thought I had my character and her role figured out. Then I realized I didn't like the prequel at all (especially since I wrote it a long time ago). I wanted to take this story in a new direction. But I didn't know where. And now it's a little late to change the whole thing. I've tried before (I discontinued the first version of this on fanfiction.net).

If I ever figure out something for how to continue this story, I will try to write it. But for now, I'm at a standstill in terms of ideas. Sorry to you and anyone else who might have been waiting for an update.

It's clear to see, but I'll say it anyway: I'm not active on this site anymore. I've decided to leave my stories as they are. Again, it's not like I post anything I write, and I don't intend to publish anything here anymore. But I do use the site sometimes, and most activity goes into my email. If you ever want to reach me for some reason, I am still reachable. I just might take a week or month to notice.

I have Awakening on my AO3 account (That_Typo_Was_Intentional), and I'm considering orphaning the story there. If you're unfamiliar, it will still be on the site, but no longer under my username. 16 ft of mystery isn't there, but I already discontinued that one, so.
