What you should know about me: I am a short person (just shy of five feet), and I'm probably not going to grow anymore. I don't care what people think of how I look. I don't wear make-up, unless for costume purposes or if I have a humungous zit. I find great inspiration for writing when I listen to music, or when I've just watched an awesome movie (or read an awesome book). I have thick, framed glasses, which I prefer to wear instead of contacts (even though I look better without my glasses). I've been wearing glasses since I was two. I don't like to drive, hate it actually.

I have only written Harry Potter fan fiction in my lifetime.

Much Ado about Music: Formerly "Harry Potter and the Sound of Music" ...Harry and his friends start a band, even though Voldemort is trying to take over the world. Fluffy romantic scenes, Lots of Humor and Fun, and Not Much Plot. Claimed hilarious by many. (The ships are Harry/Luna and Ron/Hermione. Don't support them? Then it might not be for you.) COMPLETE.

Hermione's Exasperation: A small co-author fic in which Hermione and Ron try to help Harry with his brooding emotions over Sirius during their sixth year. Drama, Angst, and a lot of Humor. Read and review it, y'all! Under BuckNC's (my co-author) penname. COMPLETE.

No (exclamation point): Lily has given James every negative answer in the book on the subject of dating him. But when the two are forced together for a potions assignment, will her opinion of him change from Arrogant Jerk to Considerate Young Man? A multi-part Marauders' Era fic...a witty romance...a possible Lily/James explanation... A taste- “I’d rather be tied to an old Shooting Star on its way into a black hole, forcefed twenty cockroach clusters, and made to spend an entire day with a banshee from New York City.” Do not be discouraged by the short chapters; the divisions don't do it justice. Post-HBP:

In Nomine Amoris: Multi-chaptered. Harry embarks on his journey after a certain wedding, and receives unexpected help from an old mentor... Predominantly ships HG and RHr (but it's not ABOUT the shipping, this one). It's going to be long, compared to other fics I've written. I'm trying to make it as believable as possible, adding all my predictions for book 7 into it. My version of Harry Potter Seven, basically. Debts are repaid, revenge transpires, emotions run high, and cowards find courage: all in the name of love. Harry, Ron, and Hermione frequently attempt to quash Voldemort's rising power. Disembodied voices, unrequited love, a missing person, a lovely wedding, a secret room, and magical creatures. In Nomine Amoris is Latin for "in the name of love." DISCONTINUED.

If Things Were Different: Three-parted. What if, say, Ron hadn’t hooked up with Lavender in HBP? And our One True Pairing had come true? And Ron and Hermione had gone to Slughorn’s party together? If you Believe in Trees, maybe this ficlet is for you. This is a "What If?" RHr ficlet, depicting what I'd have liked to happen between the two in the latest installment of Harry Potter. Never: One-shot. Written in response to the Winter Snows Challenge One: Redemption on Mugglenet Fan ’s New Year’s Eve. A young man wanders the streets of a town, blaming himself for the loss of a loved one, and a young woman sits before her fire, pondering the effects of the war. What happens when one mentally calls for the other, without even knowing it? A life-altering conversation is held amongst the two, its result mending a rupture between the One and the world—his world, the world he loved. Setting: The war ended less than a year ago, and it has been five years since the end of Book Seven, the streets of Ottery St. Catchpole. COMPLETE.

We Live On: One-shot. Written in Response to Mugglenet Fan Fiction's WinterSnows Challenge Two: Ending of a New Beginning. Six men and women spend Christmas together in a small house, on a small hill. They are their own family—or they would be, if only they could put the past behind them, and live as the dead would want them. The war changed them. Many had died, many had been saved, but they lived on in spite of everything… PostWar. COMPLETE.

I Do Believe: One-shot. Written in response to Mugglenet's Winter Snows Challenge Three: A Kiss for the Ages. One of two finalists for the "Kiss" challenge. HBP SPOILERS! A tale of Hufflepuff romance, one concerning Susan Bones and Justin Finch-Fletchley. It’s witty, it’s romantic, and it’s Hufflepuff! What more could you ever seek? COMPLETE.

How It Began: One-shot. Concerning the deaths of Halloween 1981. Very short. COMPLETE.

A Hope, From Helga: Two-part ficlet concerning the Founders and their story--how it all fell apart, etc. It's dramatic, very dramatic. Different style from my other works. Written (sort of) in the style of Libba Bray, whose published works include A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels. I don't fancy her style much, yet I wrote a whole fic using it...go figure. COMPLETE.

Starting Over: A Draco/Ginny fic... Draco, in order to avoid the wrath of the Dark Lord, negotiates his return to Hogwarts, the only place in the world he can be safe. Ginny, meanwhile, tries her hardest to forget everything about...(Boy-Who-Lived who?)...and focuses on her N.E.W.T. classes. Unfortunately, one moment of carelessness in Potions gives her a one-way ticket to weekly tutoring sessions with--yes--Draco Malfoy. This fic takes Draco/Ginny and actually makes it go along with canon. IN PROGRESS (slow, but progress).
