I also create and cover music. Check out my songs at:
My name is Genevieve.
I play many instruments but my main ones are flute and trumpet. On the non-classical side, I play guitar, piano and do some singing. I used to be a big marching band geek. I was the head drum major my last two years and the student conductor as a sophomore. Right now I attend college and I major in music. Still decided whether to go into music education or music composition. They are my two loves and I can't bear to choose.
I started writing around my junior high years. I self published a book that was once on fanfiction entitled "In Loving Memory." I have links to buy those books somewhere down below. I plan to also self publish my recent story "Drum Major Status" when its completed.
I'm not a big fan of reading school material, but I do enjoy reading for fun.
I was a part of my school's newspaper staff, so I do enjoy writing.
I enjoy Nicholas Sparks books. I like the Young Adults section in bookstores. John Green is a genius. The Hunger Games series is brilliant.
The best part of waking up is... COFFEE!
In Loving Memory [Self Published]
"Deaths can have a big impact on one's life. To Jody Baker, the french hornist, it affected her, her family, and most importantly - her music. Some say sorrow can heal with time, some say it'll get harder. Will her music deteriorate or blossom?"
"Two drum majors; one marching band. Jessica, tough but stubborn, and Christian, cocky but talented, are both battling over the same position. There are only two possibilities: work together or kill each other."
Author's Note: I'm trying something very new here. If any of you have a springpad account and would like to contribute to the Drum Major Status notebook, here is the link . Here, I want to get your ideas of what to write next for the future of Jessica and Christian.
