Author has written 2 stories for Smallville.
Why am I here?
Because fan fiction is fun!
~Writing ~Graphic Design ~Photography, ~Traveling, ~Watching Movies, ~Swearing like a Pirate, ~Snorkeling
~Walmart Runs (although I never really spend any money there because it's evil. Plus in my state it's the only place that's open 24/7).
~Funny looking umbrellas, ~Spiffy hats, ~My brownies,~Pretty sunsets and going to the ocean on rainy days.
I don't like: Scary movies, being stuck, snowballs with stones in them, Martha Stewart, broken air conditioning, retainers or any sort of teeth correction gear, bleach, or speedo's.
I'm a cranky, now 19 year old, geek. I love anything with a fair amount of irreverence, honesty and humor, just to make life a little different. I'll be going for an Graphics Associates Degree and praying that I'm not doing the wrong thing by applying full time.
NH raised and NJ born, I'm odd. I've managed to maintain relationships with friends from elementary school who just address my off-beat nature as quirky. Odd, cranky, quirky, fan fiction is fun and makes occupies the time that could be spent... resuming plans for world domination.
Or making waffles. Which ever comes first. Did I mention I get distracted easily?
Pirates of the Caribbean Quote-
Personal Quotes- (Quotes that probably are only funny to my friends and family).
Pat- Miss Supreme World Commander... 'twitches' Miss Supreme World-- Damn it Katie! Stop poking the Prime Minister!
Dad- What do you think of the flowers? I got them as a gift for your Mother when she gets back from the... (Dad looks a little confused and examines the flowers a little closer).
Me- What is it Dad? Can't I smell them?
Dad- Um, uh Katie? I think I bought fake flowers...
I read more fan fiction then I've been write it. I started off solely reading Stargate SG1 fan fiction, then it sorta branched off from there. Now it's everything from Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Daria, and Battlestar Galactica (2003 series on).
The Barista- By dietcokechic, my first Stargate SG1 fanfiction that completely transported my imagination and furthered my appreciation of fan fiction. Dena does a fantastic job capturing the essence of Dr. Daniel Jackson from and outsiders view and continues to do an amazing job in allowing all of the characters to evolve. If you are ever looking to reada great SG1 story with a fun quirky twists, this is the story for you.
Amelia's Violin- Written by Sache8, I've never been a huge season six fan but this story gives a spin on what life inside the SGC is like through the eyes of Senator Kinsey's daughter. Amelia, the senator's daughter, is going through experimental treatments with the tretonin (alien substances) in hopes of finding a cure forherterminal illness. This story doesn't have all of the characters of the SGC toppling over one another to befriend Amelia so she and Jonas find common ground. (Give OC's a shot!).
The Archaeologist, Cleo the Muse- All Vala lovers sit up and pay attention! This story is a continuation of 'The Thief' (which I would also recommend). Vala torments the SGC, character voices are right on the money, spoilers for season nine!
Stargate Atlantis- (Rodney McKay Rocks my world, plus Ronnon is pretty cool).
Reasons for sleep- Starrylizard, No original characters here. Just some really well written Carson/Weir bonding time. If you're looking for a story that fleshes out these two characters a bit more, this is the story for you. Elizabeth Weir has been having issues sleeping and goes to the good doctor. The two go over memories, fond memories and the pleasant unburdening leads to a firmer sense of trust in one another. Another oneshot story.
Just a Theorem- fififolle, If you love Rodney McKay is all his glory, this story is perfect. Rodney's neighbor, who is nameless (I believe fififolle wanted to keep this story as un-Mary Sue as possbile) is in charge of babysitting Rodney's cat. Fermat, the cat, misses Rodney and sometimes even the neighbor wonders of she misses him as well. Originally meant to be a one shot but evolved into five chapters. Very worth reading.
Pirates of the Caribbean-
Pirates of the Caribbean Between the Raindrops- OutlawJacksBonnyLass, wastes no time in going to work in capturing Captain Jack Sparrow's original voice and knack for getting himself in out out of trouble. Miranda Warringford plays the role of Jack's latest convienent inconviences as old acquaintances bring them together. The story with make you smile, laugh, cringe and gasp. If you haven't figured it out already, I guess you can say I'm just a sucker for original characters.
The Siren's Immortal- I'm sad to say that after only one chapter, this story ceased to be, but it's a damn fine openning to exploring one of the infinite ways that Captian Jack Sparrow came to be. Anyone who can write a convincing Jack has my praise and thankfully the crew was written convincingly as well. It's a short, rich read so dig in!
Grayscale- Story by marylane, this one shot focuses on the character of Don Lamb that plays the Sheriff of Neptune. Most often described as the character fans 'love to hate' this breif tale highlights his personal accounts of his rise to Sheriff. Easily written off as a bitter antagonist, Don Lamb's perspective is honest and rationally condesending oppinion will make you think. With third season rolling around, I can't wait to see the character development of Lamb because he could go anywhere.
Harry Potter- (My father and I bond over Harry Potter, which is rare, I'm a dork so bite me).
Nymph vs Wolf- Queriusole, who is my Harry Potter Fan Fiction hero, writes fantastic Tonks/Remus stories. If you enjoy Nymph vs Wolf then chances are you will love the rest of her stories. This story focuses on the introduces a potential idea of how Tonks and Remus come to meet. Sirus Black, Molly Weasley and sometimes Dumbledore are featured however the stories tend to keep focused mostly on their unfolding relationship, whether it's the good or bad bits. Give it a try! You'll love me for it, I promise
A Kara Conversation- By Mariel3, Laura Roslin and Commander Adama have a conversation about his relationship with Kara. It brings upuncomfortable questionsthat, in all fairness, is none of Laura's business. As a one shot, it carries it's own weight in words and resolves itself in a way that will make you smile.
