Progress Update: A Spirited Dawn

Third Chapter is taking forever because I've hit a snag. I need to plan out at least two books ahead of where I am now or nothing will make sense. I know where I want to head towards, but the first half of the journey is muddled. Also writing is hard. Writing children is even harder. And I need to catch up with the show. And then getting sick and surgery slowing me down even more. I refuse to abandon this project but It will take time.

Normally all I do is skulk around the webs and read other peoples work and give honest understanding reviews. But for once I may actually be on to something. I may write my own story.

From reading several short stories that haven't updated in several years I actually came up with 2 new story Ideas. Ideas that are good enough that I may actually write a story of my own. (since I haven't written them down yet I'll go ahead and tell you so I'll have a record, well, recorded somewhere.)

The first is back when yang brought ruby with her into the woods during winter, what if another little girl was found with no memories and became an adopted third sister. And there life growing up together as the newest sister deals with haunting dreams that could be memories but from another life. (Kinda like Reiteration now that I think about it. But different enough that I'm not just stealing his ideas) So far I'm pretty sure no one has used that to get an OC into the story.

The second is basically prototype if it happened in Remnant. With Ruby being Alex Mercer or well the first fully in control of herself after becoming a Grimm being. I still need to flesh that idea out. All i got so far is Ruby digging herself out of a grave, The virus being created by a scientist within the Schnee Dust Corp, and Atlas creating MoonLight, a special combat unit, to combat this new Grimm threat, and quarantine Vale. It would be a fun story to include a tonne of OC Grimm creatures, such as a crocodile, or that bull Grimm, and then seeing Ruby take advantage of the abilities she would gain.

Now I have a third that may be way easier for me to cut my teeth on so to speak. I havn't come up with a title I like but It's about Ruby possessed by a demon.

Young Ruby Rose was heartbroken when she heard that Mommy was never coming home. Her despair was seemingly irresistible to Lilith the youngest of the Arch Demons. Her plan to corrupt the poor innocent sole failed miserably, while working way better than anyone could have predicted.

Yang was worried. Her baby sister was always a weird one. (Though she would punch anyone else who would dare voice that opinion.) Never letting go of her childhood imaginary friend "Lily" and knowing more than she ever should be able too. It cause a lot of strife back in signal. But now? When she is heading to beacon, TWO YEARS early, After some strange incident at a dust store no one will talk about? Worried just might be the biggest understatement of all time.

Anyhow you played a role in this beginning of inspiration that may drive me to become an author my self.
