Hmm... what can I say about me?

I love the works of Professor Tolkien and find them an endless source of inspiration in this world as well as his. I'm new to fanfiction writing but hope that what I produce isn't too hideous! My favourite characters in the LoTR and Hobbit books are the Elves. They have so much nobility and wisdom as well as frailty (in their own way) and I wish that more people were like them in our world! My next favourite are the hobbits - I see so much of the everyday person in them, not aware of their own strengths and abilities until circumstances force them into showing just how strong and courageous they really are, a lesson to all of us I think - you are stronger and braver that you believe!

I have a pretty full on job so don't write as much as I would like so there wont be quick uploads from me. I plan to start small and work my way up to longer stories. Please feel free to comment on my writing as I want to be the best that I can be but constructive criticism only please (a quivering wreck doesn't write well!). Also please PM me if you want to geek out about Tolkien's works...
