If anyone is reading this then I am quite honestly very surprised. For I am not drawing attention to my self in any way. Granted I've definitely made my way around this fanfiction website quite a few times. I've read stories of all sorts and I can say this with much assurance, people are definitely creative.
Now that little tid bit is out of the way, I can finally talk about my thoughts. I feel I am a philosopher in a way. I study philosophy and I am a very curious and thouhtful individual. I pride my self on thinking outside of the norm and creating a new path through the forest.
I do not believe in good or evil; dark or light. And what I mean by that is, I do not see acts commited by people and judged by the general populace as good or evil based on their judgement in concord, on the stature of moral regards to societal norms set by popular belief.
An easy example of this would be my view on Adolf Hitler and his actions. I do not see him as a bad person. Now that does not mean I am a Nazi, I have no affiliation to their beliefs whatsoever. Now, why I do not see him as a bad person is very simple. I don't see his actions as evil, bad, or even good. I merely see his actions as that of someone who is compassionate, misguided, and ill informed. Perhaps using nazis as an example might put you all off, and it very may be an extreme example. another simple example is this, society norms, society norms are merely what the name suggests, normality for your society. A little example would be your people bury their dead while another society burn theirs or something. perhaps using "curse" words may be highly frowned upon somewhere but somewhere else they are part of every day language.
How you do something, what you think of something is taught, and learned. You would not think one way if you were taught another from a young age. That is a societal norm.
I want you, you as my audience to think for yourselves. To understand what I mean and try to discern for your self what good or bad represents and question why you see something as good or bad.
