![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. My name is John. I am twenty-two years old. I started reading fanfiction around 7 years ago and I started writing stories in my mind and eventually, I needed an outlet, so I started writing stories here. When I first started reading fanfics I was ridiculed for it in school, by my elder sister and even by adults. I would have expected this kind of character from my classmates since they were teens just like me, but I never expected this from adults. I would never change myself just because someone thought that I'm weird, so instead of stopping it, I started reading it hardcore. I am a fan of Naruto and Harry Potter fanfiction stories. I may start reading other fics too. INTP-T personality 'the logician' type resembles me at best, so I am very selective of what I read. Honestly, I am rash, opinionated, but I would never expect anyone to change just because my opinions are against them. But I always expect an outside opinion on things and that's why I expect both reviews and ridicule. Even when you can't see Him, GOD IS THERE!! If you believe in Jesus Christ then don't just ignore this; because in the Bible, it says that if you deny me, then I shall deny you before my Father in the gates of Heaven. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley, she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognise the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t re-post it? Re-post this, if you truly believe in God. Likes & Dislikes- I am not fond of Naru/Saku pairing, Sakura, Sasuke or Kakashi. I like Naru/Hina pairing and I like it well written and structured and realistic but yet in an unrealistic way, which must be the story's official norm. I don't like stories that are rushed into romance. I am not fond of Snape, Draco, Dumbledore, the entire Weasley family with the exception of the twins. My neutral feelings towards Snape as a character only changed after I finished reading the Deathly Hallows after Snape claimed that he loved Lily. Snape kept carrying a torch for Lily even after her marriage to James. On paper, it sounds sort of beautiful, but in actuality…, that’s kind of creepy. More creepy for the fact that he gave up trying to make amends, and never attempted to form a similar relationship with anyone else. He kept a specific version of her in his head, built out of childhood memories and the moments he watched her from afar and decided that was good enough. It didn’t stop him from offering Lily and her family up to Voldemort the instant he heard a helpful prophecy regarding Harry’s birth. He backtracked just a little because apparently, he was fine with Voldemort killing Lily’s child and husband, the people whom she loved more than anything; he was only horrified at the thought of her death. And that’s not real love...caring for someone without considering that special someone's happiness is the exact opposite of love, in point of fact, it makes this target person an 'object' of your affection rather than a 'subject'. 'Subjects' are learned as if something is new in it every day and 'objects' are used until they're no longer useful. Perhaps his feelings for Lily were the only thing that prevented him from truly going “dark” with his Death Eater comrades, and for that, we can be grateful. But the damning aspects of that love showed up the instant Harry steps into Hogwarts, as he cruelly begins abusing an eleven-year-old from day one, all because the boy looks more like his father, something he has no control, it's not like chose to inherit his father's looks. Sure, Harry looks more like James than Lily, sure, he’s got a bit of that Gryffindor bravado, but here was the perfect opportunity for Snape to make peace with his past. It’s true in more ways than one, specifically because Harry had also come from a home where he was ignored, abused, treated as less than a household pet. If Snape loved Lily so much, you would imagine he would want to do right by her son, to honour her memory, wouldn’t you? But it seems that his hatred for James was much stronger than his feelings for Lily. It just doesn't add up at all, the character shows a wide range of behavioural inconsistency. Is it understandable that Snape feels the way he feels against Harry, James and others? Absolutely. Is it acceptable that his actions in response to his own feelings that he continually keeps harming others? Not so much. And that's what people don't understand, I'm not saying that Snape is an evil person quite the contrary, he did his part in the war better than anyone and contributed a lot, but is he a hero, the answer is 'no'. James for all his faults 'chose' to fight against Voldemort, fought for freedom against oppression and tyranny, fought against blood-purism being a pureblood himself. James could have very well joined the dark lord and lived a very content life, but he 'chose' not to, his actions speak the strength of his character. And his actions show that he is someone to be looked up to, but Snape, on the other hand, 'chose' to incline towards the dark and that as a person makes him despicable. I never liked Draco or Dumbledore much from the very beginning and I always found that the Weasleys had some other ulterior motives behind their deeds. Dramione is one of the worst pairings ever, in almost all of them Hermione is portrayed as a slut. Anybody who has read the books would know that Hermione is a strong feminist, with smart logic fuelled ideas in her mind and that makes me wonder if the fools who actually write Dramione stories have even read the books in the first place. And I also think men are destined to be with women because there are two different genders in most species, so I don't prefer gay or lesbian, so no yaoi stories, but that doesn't mean I hate them. I am fine with people making their choices and I respect them for it, hence I won't discriminate them, but I simply won't prefer it. So no Harry/Snape, Harry/Draco or Harry/multi whatsoever. However, I do prefer Harry/Hermione, Harry/Daphne and Naru/Hina pairings. P.S. I have deleted my story 'Everybody Deserve a Second Chance but Some are Destined to get it'. My cousin Nestor has asked me for permission to use my story for himself and since I'm not writing anymore because of time deficit difficulties, I have decided to lend it to him. He'll be continuing the story by borrowing details and scenes from it. Update - 3/30/2020 Sorry people, I'm working two jobs, I don't get any time to write anymore. I leave my apartment at around eight in the morning, and I come back home at around ten at night. Sleeping and cleaning up is all that I can do in the time I have left... My apologies... Just updating... And that's me. Thank you... |
