Author has written 3 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Right, right. Avi's bugged me to do this, so I actually have to get up off my lazy ass and rewrite this profile. Well, I don't have to, but I'd rather not have her coming at me with a knife when I don't, SO!
First thing's first: You see that story down there? That one that's not Nightshade's Valor? Don't read that. That's a piece of crap that I'm just too gorram sentimental to take down. I used to think it was a good start, until I took an arrow the th-...
Until Shrrg and I started talking and, over the course of the past year, we made it much much much better. This has led to the creation of something that would take far too long to explain in this teeny-tiny little profile box, and so I should really just get down to writing it, shouldn't I?
Point is you lot should keep an eye out for an expansion on the Percy Jackson universe that takes an idea I had back when I read Titan's Curse about a year ago (man, has it really been that long?) and more or less touches on a lot of things Riordan didn't, at least at the time we came up with all the stuff. Happen to like Zoe Nightshade as a character, and are grumbling as much as I am that she was killed off so early? Ever take a moment to think about how under-represented and underplayed mortal humans are in the books? We-hell, my friends, you might just want to stop by every so often and look for what will eventually be the following six stories:
Trial of the Guardian
Forging the Shield
Hell to Pay
Veils and Tangled Threads
Hang on to your pants audience, when I finally get off my lazy, white ass to write, Xed's Broken Bow series might just have some competition! An ambitious and ballsy statement, I know, but... well... those few of you who know me know I rarely ever qualify as normal.
(A small warning: I've found, over the past year, that I'm not very nice to my characters. My stories aren't overly cruel, bloody or evil, they're just... dark. It starts to show through after you finish the second-one-that-will-eventually-be-written-honest-I'm-serious.)
