![]() Author has written 19 stories for Samurai Jack, Gravity Falls, Titanfall, My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア, Steven Universe, Highschool of the Dead, Godzilla, Amphibia, Owl House, Hilda, Robot Boy, Loud House, High School DxD/ハイスクールD×D, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Spider-Man, Division, Fairy Tail, and Star Vs. The Forces of Evil. What’s up, everyone! Hope you all are doing great. As you could probably tell from the profile, I go by the name Cowboy Alchemist, and I’m just your regular average, male OC-based fanfiction writer. I’ve seen many stories on this website, and I hope to bring you all some different, but great, and exciting stories. I prefer to do Male OC-based stories, mostly because I like to read new main characters that were created by the author. Sure I like non-OC stories, but I still prefer OC stories, so don't judge me on that. Especially if you're one of those readers that read/write nothing but OP Naruto stories. Also, I'm a guy, so of course, I'm going to like Male-OCs more because I can relate to them. The Male-OC-based stories that you'll mainly be seeing are stories or crossovers of cartoons like Samurai Jack, and they'll be crossed over with some more modern or popular animes. I like to go for story plots and crossovers that people haven't really thought about, but only if I'm able to make the two series work together. Hello to all my fanfic readers and Deviantart watchers! I just wanted to inform you all that I've just made a Ko-Fi. This is something I've recently found out about and have decided to give it a shot. If you like my work, feel free to consider donating. It would help me a lot to be able to continue writing and drawing. I DO NOT TAKE STORIES REQUESTS. STOP ASKING TO GIVE ME STORY IDEAS!!!! COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well. I know I've been putting this at the beginning of each of my chapters, but since my biggest audience is here on Fanfiction, I figured it was best to let you all know that I'm now doing cartoon fanart and commissions. I've been doing fanart for my cartoon-based stories and I decided to take the next step and start doing commissions. I'm open for cartoon OCs, fanart, and fanfic covers. Mostly OCs and fanart from shows like Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Steven Universe, and the Owl House, which is my most popular one. I'm open to these and other Disney, Cartoon Network, and even Nickelodeon animation shows. I can do both Male and Female OC, all I need from you is either an image of what your OC looks like or a clear and concise description of what they look like. As well as what you want for me to make. This is the same for if the commission is fanart or a fanfic cover. Contact: To make an order for a commission, all you have to do is contact me via these opinions. -Fanfiction PM -DeviantArt: @Cowboy-Alchemist -Instagram: @cowboyalchemst -Discord: @Cowboy Alchemist#4990 What I will do: -Cartoon OCs -Cartoon Fanart -Cartoon Crossovers -OC x Canon Pairings -Cartoon Pairings -Fanfic/Cartoon posters -Fanart of my cartoon fanfics (Weirder Things, The Seventh Son, Living in a Frog World, and Gem of War.) or other cartoon fanfics. -Anime characters in cartoon styles. -Disney Channel shows styles What I will not do: -NSFW/explicit content -Hate Art -Fetishes -Anime (I love anime, but cartoon style where I'd say I'm really good at.) -Anime-inspired styles (Voltron, Avatar, Teen Titans, etc.) -Incest Favorite quotes: "We must never forget that we may also find meaning in life even when confronted with a hopeless situation, when facing a fate that cannot be changed. For what then matters is to bear witness to the uniquely human potential at its best, which is to transform a personal tragedy into a triumph, to turn one's predicament into a human achievement. When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves.” -Viktor E. Frankl “Hardships prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary life.” – C.S. Lewis And now here's something concerning 'REVIEWS'. This comes from a user by the name of 'LoamyCoffee', who copied from 'Narutogod123' who copied it from 'Heartless demon wolf'. LoamyCoffee may not be a writer, but he's been such a great help to me by reviewing my stories. So, here it-- From those of us that are famous authors to lesser-known writers, we writers on FanFiction ALL depend on the feedback from our readers. It is everything that tells us what we're doing right and wrong in our stories. Vision Dominican brought up an interesting albeit tragically true idea: "Lack of reviews is the greatest killer of fanfic writers out there. We at the institute wish to let the public know of how they can pitch in to save our dying writers. Many of you say to yourselves that you're being "too lazy to review". But to writers, it's what we call "a flame to the pages". That one minute or two that you felt "too lazy" to review is another minute of creeping discouragement that all writers feel as they begin to think... "Why am I even doing this…?" "What's even the point of continuing?" "My skills must be terrible…no one cares for my story…" "I'll never be a good writer...I quit." These are only a few thoughts that go through every writer's head - that go through MY head - when we put out a chapter/story with all our heart and soul within, and we sit there…and sit…and wait…and not a single person says even a word. If you're not a writer, you have no idea how much that hurts… If you ARE a writer, then I'm sure you know just how great it feels when someone is kind enough to leave a heartwarming and encouraging review, and you read it, smiling while thinking…"Wow…fuck...I did it…" So, why not give fellow writers the same luxury here? Too many times there are epic and utterly beautiful works of literary art that fall to pieces before finally being abandoned due to the terrible discouragement that the lack of reviews can cause. Sometimes, it is so severe that the very writer himself decides to quit, denying the world his skills of writing that many would have deeply enjoyed. All you have to do is this: 1) Drop a review every other chapter. DO IT. It may not seem like much, but reviews are actually what many of us want to see. That, and hits. Hits do make us happy but we don't really know if people like our story or not. 2) Visit our author page. Those kinds of hits really make us happy. It's where we showcase our entourage of friends, beta readers, and stories. Some of us even tidy up with set areas for upcoming story ideas and character bios. 3) Send a PM. While normally I'd prefer a review, PMs are also good. Really warm the heart to communicate with another reader or writer." So…Just one minute, that's all it takes. Just a few gentle taps of the fingers on your keyboard, a few seconds or so of your time, and your words can SAVE a writer from a dark demise. Do me a favor: Go find a story, ANY story, anywhere here on the site, and see if you can help it. If it has very little / no reviews at all, just check it out, and say whatever comes to mind. And enjoy the thought in mind that you probably have just SAVED that story, with just a few taps of the keyboard… If you agree with what I have said then please copy and paste any part of this story you wish onto your profile. Modify it in any way you see fit; there is no need to use my exact words. You make it say what you want it to say. |
