Hey! I changed my name! Again! Why? I dunno, I was getting tired of my old one (too long - not that this one isn't). Plus, I'm totally into Panic! at the Disco right now (MCR's still my fav, though). I'll probably change it again when I think ofsomething else.
To anyone actually bothering to read this: while I am currently extremely unproductive in the form of fanfiction, I am still very much alive (contrary to popular belief). So, I'm hiring myself out as a beta until my muse returns (not that I could find it in the first place). If you need a beta, drop me an email. I've finally remembered my password, so I can actually access it now.
My Little List Of Favvie Torturees:
Scott - three words: pole, up, ass.
Jean - canon Mary Sues and Gary Stus scare me. However, I let Cedric Diggory slide because all he did was randomly show up to get killed (hate it when that happens).
New Recruits - they didn't get nearly enough screentime, and they're probably the most diverse group on the show. And usually if I devote attention to someone, it's in a mocking, torturing manner. Hey, at least they're getting attention, the poor souls.
Evan - used to like him, but then realized that torturing him is SO much more fun. Besides, he's a lame sk8er boii rip off of Marrow.
Forge - a genius from the past? Stuck in the future? With weird lingo? How is he NOT an easy target?
Pietro - I swear he's bi. Not that that's a problem. He just also tends to come across as a six-year-old girl trapped in a sixteen-year-old's (or however old he is) body.
Lance - poor boy, doomed to so many lame rock puns.
And this list will probably grow...and grow...and grow.
As of 11-25-06:
All parodies are on indefinite hiatus. I'm just...not feeling the vibe right now.
Any form of chaptered fanfiction is also on indefinite hiatus. Chapters are the bane of my existence, as they are writer's block magnets for me.
I am on a oneshot kick right now. I know, I only have one out, but I do have more written, and more in the process of being written.
They tend to be:
1. Angsty. Or at least, not very happy. At all. (I'll write a happy one soon, I promise. I have it all planned out. I just have to get around to writing it.)
2. Slash. Of course, they'll all have the appropriate warnings in the summary. (I'll write a het oneshot at some point. Maybe. I actually have none planned.)
3. Centered around at least one of the New Recruits. (Particularly Ray. I've developed a growing fascination with one of the most underdeveloped characters in XME. Fascinating.)
4. If not bizarrely topicked (haha is that even a word?), then inspired by a song. (Especially AFI songs. They're just so inspiring. Plus, Davey and Jade's hair are really cool. XD)
Oh! And I have a muse! He's a jackalope named Skip. And he does not look like your average jackalope, probably due to the fact that my friend was originally trying to draw an elf with a nipple ring and failed miserably (on the elf; the nipple ring turned out great), and ended up with Skip. So there you go.
