How far would you go to save a memory? A retelling of TAS ep "Yesteryear" (mostly?) from the POV of the McCoy of a reality where Spock died in the line of duty several months before that incident. McCoy is the one to go back to save the younger Spock's life, but timelines converging isn't something he expected. Spock/McCoy. Crossover with regular TOS/TAS reality.

There are continuing medical problems for Spock after the events of "Operation: Annihilate!" that prove more than a bit difficult.
