Author has written 4 stories for Merlin, Sherlock, and Avengers.
As an avid bookworm, when I first found this site many years ago, I was overjoyed. Since then, chapters have been flooding my inbox from several different fandoms, and I like to think that I've seen some of the best and worst of them.
I put a ridiculously large number of stories on alert, but not often authors. Out of those several hundred stories, I pick and choose what I put into my favourites. Those are the stories I find myself reading again, and again. Fortunately the Internet doesn't get as worn as the paperbacks on my bookshelf!
I am a self-confessed chronic non-reviewer. I apologise to all those writers whose works I have read and not reviewed! I do appreciate them, I just never seem to find the time to let you all know of the fact.
Despite my long years on this site, I am still just a fledgling writer testing my wings. I currently only have one published work on the site, but have several going at any time. As a self-confessed perfectionist when it comes to writing, I prefer not to publish anything until I am totally happy with it. As I am also rather absent-minded and flighty, I will not be posting any longer works unless they are near completion; I have seen far too many stories abandoned to want to do that to my readers.
Good grammar, spelling, characterisation and plot are the key factors to my enjoyment of a story; while I can let some of those slide if the story overall is well-written, I am likely to stop reading a story that consistently fails any of these. However, I am also willing to offer my services as a beta-reader to works with potential. (There's only so much I can help with when a Mary-Sue comes knocking on my door.) I can promise that any criticism I provide will be constructive.
Feel free to browse my favourites, some of the best works on this site have found their way onto that list.
