Author has written 24 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Avatar: Last Airbender, Fullmetal Alchemist, Aladdin, and Back to the Future.
I'm 29 years old, and have been making up stories based on TV series ever since I can remember. I especially like characters who lose themselves or change, so a lot of my fanfics involve that type of thing. Since I tend to need a base character to work with for those plots, I have trouble coming up with original story ideas. Thus, I'm a fan artist. I can also be found on the deviantArt website at ht tp://asjjohnson. deviantart. com/.
I usually give reviews for fanfictions I like by keeping a Word Processor document open and writing down any thoughts that I have while reading a chapter. It works pretty well most of the time.
"Return to Shamballa":
"Finding One's Self":
Twenty Fifteen - uh... I thought of all these ideas for it, but, with it being past BttF Day... I don't have as much motivation now. Oops.
Shoes (tentative title) - will get back to; the next chapter kept giving me fits, leading me to think the fic's planning had issues (but it's too big an idea not to write).
Dimension 3 - rewritten and almost finished on deviantArt (hopefully will finish sometime and update it here, though not sure when)
Mistaken Identity - hopefully will finish sometime. I'd also considered making a comic version on Smackjeeves
Return to Shamballa - hopefully will rewrite sometime (I was starting to get into some plot holes), though I'm not sure I remember everything I wanted to do
Life - possibly complete, possibly will add more later. It goes with Return to Shamballa
The Return Home - indefinite hold (Avatar's season 3 kind of made it obsolete. ...on second thought, I might finish it sometime, since it's near the end...)
Capsule Monsters - indefinite hold (after my capsule monsters DVD burned, I haven't felt like working on it)
A Look at Kaiba's Thoughts - abandoned
The End of Duel Monsters - possibly complete, not sure

I've started messing with Shoes again. ...not sure the motivation'll stick, though. I had a few little ideas about how to go about things, but it seems I'm still having some trouble writing chapters themselves. I think part of it is that I need to figure out how certain narration styles are done. The camera-like POV I wanted for the Shoes prologue (which I was trying to rewrite) is apparently a real thing, called third-person objective omniscient. There's certain ways to write from that point of view to make it work. And probably certain ways to write for a close third-person limited (which is what the other Shoes chapters are). Not knowing what works and what doesn't might be part of what's been tripping me up. So... I'm playing with that, now. As well as trying to figure out the most interesting way for the prologue to play out (I'm going to keep it basically as is, just that I want to change how I tell it to make it more interesting). If anyone's interested, the book "Structuring Your Novel" is pretty useful.
