Author has written 4 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Fantastic 4, and Shakespeare. 9/15/13: She rises from the dead! What can I say about an absence of six years? First, I am very sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth the way I did. A lot happened in my real life. I tried converting my fanfic to real fic and discovered it was harder than it looked. I tried writing original fic, and discovered that my writing only sparks when it's fan fic. I lost two loved ones. I gained two nieces and have a nephew on the way in November. I lost a job. I got another one. I had a bout with depression, got over it, discovered video games, and got my first professional publication--in a beading magazine. I designed a piece, wrote up the instructions, and sold it. Status of my existing stories: Uncertain. I have been gone so long I'm a little out of the groove. I would like to continue them and conclude them satisfactorily, but give me a little while to find my way again by starting something new. I'm going to try and make a comeback. I thank all of you who have continued to read and like my work despite my silence. It means a lot. I took my pen name from Terry Pratchett's Going Postal, which defines a 'gevaisa' as a 'tomb of living words', and that 'when there is a critical mass of (words) they change the nature of the universe'. Also, 'enough words crammed together can affect time and space.' That pretty well sums up the inside of my head, because of all the reading I've done. |
